What qualifies as 'relatively light?!' LOL!

Hey everybody! I joined this group just today...I've been on MFP forever, but just started the SL program two weeks ago (today was my sixth workout.) Looking through all your posts here, I have learned that I am embarrassingly weak! (Well, I kinda already knew that! lol!) Anyway, would you all mind if I tag along/join in?!…

Wow...this sounds like me exactly! I get to within 5-10 pounds of my goal weight and act like I've arrived! I get lazy with my workouts and apathetic with my diet... That was a good sermon, eslcity! I needed that...thanks!

I, too, have wondered what other females consider "heavy." I mean, I *know* it would vary from person-to-person, but I was going to ask the 'how many reps' question that I just saw answered above (thanks!) Out of curiosity, though, would any of you women care to say how many pounds you do squats with...and for how many…

**LIKE** (or rather...LOVE!)

Just an observation...anorexics do NOT stop losing weight (or lose less weight) when they eat too few calories...EVER!

Yay Candi...thanks for being an inspiring example! I  Claude!!!

Skim, the 'Fitness Blender' folks have a ton of videos on youtube that my husband and I do some of...so I went to their website - fitnessblender.com On there, they sell (for just $9.99) a 'plan' for daily workouts that is supposed to be a calculated mix of cardio, strength, flexibility, etc - instead of just searching…

I need to check in here and let you all know that I am still with you, even though I haven't been around much! Middle of last week, some scheduling issues messed up my workouts, and I used that as an excuse to go three days without logging my food. It turned into one of those completely off-the-wagon experiences! :( So,…

I managed to keep my calories reasonable for the weekend, but had a lot of junk-y food, not healthy...and my sodium was too high (par for the course with junk food) so I feel kinda yucky today! Claude must be in my subconscious...I dreamed last night that there was an abandoned litter of seven kittens in my yard! I…

Skim, that sounds so much like me! I have learned that I am super-sensitive to sodium *and* carbs, especially now that I have been limiting them. Over the last few weeks, my weight has fluctuated up to eight pounds in a single week. (I didn't even know that was possible!) But, like you said, it always normalizes when I…

Hello everybody! I'm *very* excited to be a part of this group, even though I'm not an Aussie! I had informally dubbed myself as a "TT&T FoAL" (Friend of Aussie Ladies,) but now I see that we've acquired a couple of men! (Oops!) Can I just be an adopted Aussie?! And, that's my excuse if any of the following measurements…

Of course they will!!! I'm excited *for* you!

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH, Sheri, for another wonderful challenge! I feel like I'm *almost* back to my old self! And, WOW, didn't the Sharks completely dominate?! LOL!!! Who's up for ROUND TWO???

Friday AM: workout: 60 min (40 with Leslie and 20 rebounding)...302 calories Inspiration I found on New Year's Day (but we can still apply it!) - "Today is the first blank page of a 365-page book. Write a good one." Weigh-in: 112.6 (down from 119 - which means that I am super-sensitive to too much sodium!) I put my Friday…

As for my stretching progress, I don't *feel* like I've made a *huge* improvement...but I do believe that the difference would be more than I am thinking if I had before-and-after photos of myself doing the stretches! And here's my Thursday: workout: 72 minutes (37 circuit and 35 rebounding)...415 calories stretch: 9…

"Nothing great ever came *that* easy." -unknown @kvon - your last post made me go and check my calendar...and I found that TOM is due to show up TOMORROW!!! On the final weigh-in day!!! How is that even possible??? (And, no, it doesn't make me feel better knowing that *next* week's weigh-in will be better!) …

Another good day...looks like you guys have had good days too! Wednesday: workout: 60 min (20 FitnessBlender, 30 Brazil Butt Lift, and 10 rebounding)...362 calories stretch: 5 min reps: 100 cardio I pulled up the Brazil Butt Lift on youtube...wanted to see it/do it in order to determine if I wanted to buy the program.…

Glad you're on the mend, Ali! Thank you all for the responses so far! I felt soooo down after a BAD day of eating...and that came right after I 'allowed' myself a WEEK of BAD eating around xmas. So, the scale was up, and I felt **horrible!** I do feel so much better (physically and mentally) when I'm eating right and…

Well, I managed to keep my food under control today...and get a lot of working out done! YAY! Tuesday: workout: 100 minutes (65 with Leslie; 35 on the rebounder)...529 calories  stretch: 5 minutes reps: 100 core And (surprise!) tomorrow's a NEW DAY just like today was! (That is *supposed* to be supportive and…

You guys are all a great help, support, and encouragement to me! It makes me think we really should have an on-going group for "Sheri's Former Challenge Members" for whoever is interested! I just love how interactive most of the participants here are (compared to most on my friend's list.) ...and that really seems to help…

I can do this??? I **can** do this! I **WILL** DO THIS!!! THANKS!!!

Nothing for me on Sunday... Monday: workout: 30 min circuit with Jillian...216 calories stretch: 5 min reps: 150 (100 UB/LB and 50 cardio) And, hey, is there a prize for who can eat the most junk/calories in a day??? Don't know whether to  or  !!!

I've had a rough couple of weeks around Christmas, but please leave my name on the spreadsheet... I am NOT giving up! Thanks! :flowerforyou:
-
Nope...everybody I know is sick to death of hearing about diet/fitness/weight loss from me...they sure wouldn't want to encourage it! lol

Here's to your 2014 being the VERY BEST YEAR of your life (up to that point!) :drinker: :flowerforyou:

Well, I knew that my weigh-in was not gonna be pretty, but **seriously** ...UP SIX POUNDS in just TWO WEEKS??? How is that even possible? I am soooo hoping that most of it is just water retention, but still, I am very disappointed in myself; last year during Sheri's holiday challenge, I LOST weight during our Christmas…
-
119... REALLY??? It had BETTER be that I am just *that* sensitive to sodium!!!
-
Wednesday: workout: 30 minutes with Leslie...132 calories stretch: 3 minutes sit-ups, crunches, squats: done I've kept my eating within reason, meaning that I haven't had to do any jumping jacks and push-ups...avoiding those is *good* motivation!

Forgot to mention that Brian went on my walk with me yesterday...that will have to count as getting family involved this week; nobody else here is going to be up for that! and for support: One 'bad' meal won't make you fat just like one 'good' meal won't make you skinny. (very pertinent for this season!)
