  • I've been using a little older Wii game called ExerBeat it has boxing, karate, hip hop, samba, yoga, pilates and stretching. I just starting using Zumba Core every other day too. I like both and I don't even have to leave my house to get my exercising done :)
  • I did monitor my sugar intake for awhile and was frustrated that fruit and fruit juice (minimal) put me over my sugar level for the day. I did learn that raspberries have the least sugar of berries. Other members suggested that I don't worry about sugar from fruit, only added sugar in other foods. Hope this helps.
  • Love the visual! Makes a lot of sense and explains why scale is not always the best indicator of progress.
  • My ring was getting very loose after I lost 20 lbs. I just had it enlarged a year before I began my weight loss. I went to the jeweler who enlarged it for me and told him I was hoping to lose more weight and did not want to have it resized until I was done losing weight. He put in a ring guard for me free of charge. It is…

  • Have you tracked your measurements? Any inches lost? Sometimes the scale doesn't tell the whole story.
  • What a great accomplishment! You have such a pretty face and that was more difficult to see in your before pictures. Keep up the great work!! You can do it :)
  • Sorry to hear about your Mom. It is difficult losing a parent. You can do it (for yourself and your loved ones!) this site has helped me so much. Portion control and making informed decisions about what you eat are the key. Also adding a little movement every day helps! Good luck on your journey :)
  • Great job! Those kind of victories really mean a lot. Keep up the great work :)
  • I am halfway there too! Congratulations you have done a lot of hard work and it has really paid off. I lost 10 lbs before joining mfp and have about 25-30 to go. I haven't really gone down in clothes size though. I was a 18/16 and now I am probably a 16/14. My clothes are pretty baggy now though and I have lost 6 inches…
  • I am 5' 8", started out early June @ 220, cw 194, gw 165. Don't remember ever weighing less than 175. Mostly just want to be in healthy BMI range. Moving from obese to overweight was a great feeling!
  • Good old fashioned plain Cherrios!! My breakfast of choice most mornings with skin milk and raspberries (they are low in sugar for a fruit).
  • My drivers license lists my weight from 23 years ago! I started out 40 pounds over my drivers license weight and am now 15 pounds over. By the time I have to renew I might even be able to lower it!
  • I too started out obese but am now overweight!! What a great feeling :) Congratulations and keep up the good work. Next goal is healthy weight.
  • I was having the same problem and getting very frustrated so I started tracking my measurements too. I have lost 4.5 inches on my waist and 3 on my arms. That helped me not get discouraged when the scale wasn't showing progress. Keep up the good work and it will pay off, just be patient :)
  • What a great idea to try it on the stairs first! I just tried it and I think I can do that, at least until I can do a real one :) thanks!
