trochelwoman you sound like you have found what so many of us need who have pain to contend with which makes exercising more difficult. Your trainer sounds awesome, wish I could find someone like him! Like doingitfores I went to a physical therapist for awhile after my back spasms subsided for a short time. She showed me…

Only thing that makes it tolerable for a couple who sleeps together is for both of us to use a cpap. But too I hope reaching my weight loss goal I'll get rid of mine & hopefully will encourage my husband to lose weight also. Happy that you are healthier & your sleep apnea is much better. Congratulations on your weight loss!

I'm 5'3" and have for years been wearing "Just My Size" and "Croft & Barrow". The most comfortable jeans, with pockets, elastic waist and lots of stretch. They have petite for the shorter women. I've found them at Wal Mart, Sears, K-Mart & Kohls and the price is very reasonable, $14 to $20 at Walmart & Kmart and for the…

Then you ARE exercising if you are walking 3-4 miles a day. You should take that into consideration & log what you do walk. You may not be eating enough calories.

I don't work out now because of health problems, bad knees, bad back, etc. but I look at it as a lifestyle change instead of a diet. Makes me feel better to eat like normal but use portion control, meals with protein, vegetables & fruits & if I have extra calories to use to make my 1320 calorie daily limit I'll eat…

Your additional info about it will certainly be of use to some of those Fitbit users. Thanks!

Thanks! Sounds so easy & good!

I am also a cpap user also & have always wondered the same thing. Let's lose & find out ok!:flowerforyou:

Sounds good! Do you know how many calories?

It helps to allow plenty of time to get where you need to go & if you can try to drive alone until you build up more confidence. My husband tries to tell me how to drive all the time, tells me to watch out for this or that or speed up or slow down. So I can relate to your anxiety when someone is trying to tell you how to…

Thanks for all the good soup recipes!

Don't think the poster was judging but trying to help. Some people don't like vegtables & fruits so they fill up on other not so healthy choices that include a lot of processed foods. It will make their weight loss slower but by writing it down & staying under their goal calories it shows they are trying. I know people do…

3 oz. Talapia 1 cup steamed veggies ( like zuchinni, carrots, broccoli or mushrooms) OR 1 cup salad with fat free ranch or raspberry vinigrett dressing 6 oz Kroger carbmaster banana cream pie yogurt

Mt. Olive bread and butter spears no sugar added...I like them!.

The only frozen meals I'll buy are the Lean Cuisine Pizzas, I usually have to add a slice of canadian bacon to one before I heat it and fix a salad or some celery & carrot sticks to go with it. Too much sodium to eat vey often but good when I have that pizza craving.
-
Sounds good but would like a recipe with less calories.
-
I pay a great deal attention to sodium as I retain a great deal of fluid in my legs. I read the other day that MFP has protein set too low & that some people are resetting the allowed amount. If the red numbers really bother you & you feel ok with a little more protein you can also reset your amount.

bump lots of new recipes I haven't seen

I like this idea! Thanks!

It bothers me to see a person whose diary only includes protein shakes, bars & yogurt and they don't eat 3 meals a day. I feel it's not healthy and feel this is not a lifestyle but a temporary way of eating. If this friend does not interact & since their goals are entirely different from mine I will unfriend.
-
WW is good if you need the group interaction but also when they changed the way to count points they made it more difficult as if it wasn't already. Keeping track of calories is much easier & MFP is free!

Another easy way to cook your fish fillets on the grill, put a fillet on a sheet of foil, sprinkle with lemon pepper, slice some onions & bell pepper on top. Wrap it up & cook on the grill or in the oven for about 20 min.
-
If you like fish you don't need a bunch of spices, etc. to make it good. I just heat up a nonstick skillet, when it's hot I spray with canola oil spray or any spray you like, throw in your boneless fish fillets (I like Talapia or Flounder). Sprinkle with pepper or any spices you have...I use Daddy Hinkle's or Dash. Brown…

Unless I have a coupon for a big discount I don't buy. Think many consumers are doing the same as the shelves are still full.

Is it possible to make ONE cookie? I have a hard time dividing ingredients & having it come out right. A whole pan would be too irresistable!
