  • I'm not much use on weekends, but I'm pretty constant when it comes to Mon-Fri.
  • Yea, by time I got to the deadlift I was exhausted, and realized after I was "finished" that I was 10 pounds away from 750, so I basically pushed beyond exhaustion for that lift. Probably shouldn't have, but I had enough control to ensure I didn't hurt myself. Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I really appreciate it!
  • The 'club' thing is a personal goal I'd like to achieve. Nothing more. I love lifting more each time, but I also like to have something to work towards. Without structure I stray from the path with relative ease. I'll definitely stick with my routine, though. Thanks. Awesome. Thanks!
  • I've been playing a lot of FFXIV lately. Almost done with the ARR storyline, then I'll probably work on a gathering job to take a break from questing, and I hop into D3 on a regular basis to farm some rifts. Beyond that I'm also doing a Let's Play series on Guild of Dungeoneering.

  • I'm about to finish C25K (would have already finished, but was on vacation), and I'm participating in my second 5k this weekend. It'll be my first obstacle race. After that I'm going to begin C210K. ETA: I also run in the AM. I can't seem to do it in the PM (get exhausted incredibly fast).

  • I can't access dropbox at work so I can't see the videos, but here's a 100# form check video I did about a month ago for OHP if it helps any; http://youtu.be/r0suQUEslmw
  • My biggest concern are the walls. My upper body doesn't have the strength yet to pull up 230+ pounds, and the site for Mud Crusade doesn't say how tall the walls are. Thanks for the advice so far. I'll have to go shopping for some clothes that aren't cotton.
  • No one has any tips?
  • I'm a fan of the female form. I prefer smaller boobs, but I won't turn any down :)
  • I'm 67...so close!
  • I haven't made it in a long time (since I worked at a Greek/Middle Eastern tapas bar), but when I was there we would boil the chickpeas, then throw a red onion in the pot and let it sit overnight. In the morning we'd throw it in the food processor (not the onion) with fresh garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  • This is basically what it's like when I enter a room.
  • Can't see any of these at work! Bump for later.
  • 2012 Challenger SRT8 392.
  • Like others have said, just take your time. It's a brutal lift, and one of those that's easy to hurt yourself with if you don't take your time and use proper form. I love the OHP as well. Hit 130# on Wednesday, and really want to do 135# today, but I felt my body telling me to slow my roll. Gonna do a 20% deload and switch…
  • I don't know about it helping to lose weight, unless you are drinking massive quantities, but after I cut out soda for the most part (I still have one every once in a while) I found some of the problems I had with working out such as getting nauseous after cardio, cramps, fatigue, etc... all went away with more water…
  • I just started Week 7 yesterday, and did my first 5k on 4/6/13. Love the program, and looking forward to "graduating". Feel free to add me, peeps :D
  • This. Just eat what you'd normally eat for the rest of the day, and don't worry about it. Having a day go over isn't going to ruin your ability to meet your goal, but if you stress about it and start starving yourself every time it happens you'll find it harder to stick with it.
  • I do the exact opposite. Mon, Wed, and Thurs I do Stronglifts 5x5, and Tues, Thurs, and Sat I do C25K or free running.
  • I use an Ozeri Touch; http://amzn.com/B003N4AVKE ETA: But I want one of these; http://www.northshorecare.com/physician-400.html?gdftrk=gdfV22386_a_7c1491_a_7c6463_a_7c6100
  • I'm no where near done, but this is my before, and during. Sorry the right pic is blurry. I'm doing Stronglifts 5x5 and C25K. I ran my first 5K at the beginning of this month, and it was awesome.
  • Ah, ok. So somewhere around 2.5 stones. Thanks.
  • A stone is what, 10lbs? I just recently started getting the "you look like you're losing weight" comments and I'm close to 40lbs (4 stones?) down. ETA: The point is, while the comments are nice my determination doesn't waver when they aren't there. Thank the people who compliment you, and walk away from those who berate…
  • Somewhere around 1988 I think. I'm the one on the right without the dorky haircut. Dorky haircut is my brother.
  • Jerky, and hopefully they'd have some kind of protein shake (Muscle Milk or something).
  • Bump.
  • You just have to go out and do it. I felt the same way when I first started, especially since I could only walk in the beginning. Now I love getting out there to jog, and have even started venturing further away from my apt complex into more populated areas. The sooner you get out there and start doing it, the better off…
