  • Don't think of it so much as lifting. Think of it as pushing your heels into the ground while pulling your shoulders back, and then work on pushing your pelvis forward until you are standing up straight.

  • I just keep a cup full of water near me at all times. I'm a habitual drinker (drink constantly if my hands aren't occupied) so having the water near me at all times means I get about 12-16 glasses in a day.

  • I do realize that it won't be 100% accurate. I'm more interested in using it as a guide to make sure I'm not in too much of a calorie deficit, thus hindering my ability to gain muscle mass.
  • My lab is in another part of the suite I'm in, so instead of taking my laptop down there to work I walk back and forth while executing tests. I don't have a pedometer though, so I have no idea how much I'm walking.

  • My car is spotless, inside and out. Every Saturday (sometimes on Sundays) I detail the inside and outside. I live alone, and don't have a dog so that helps keep it clean. I also love my car.
