Recently minted 28, haha

Lookin' good and fit! Even with the 30 to go, you look fantastic!

I know your struggle to a small extent; my dad has been in the hospital for three months and hasn't been in the right mind for over a week now; I don't have much else going on family-wise, no kids or significant other (still kind of smarting over a recent opportunity that simply didn't pan out), I may visit a friend and…

You looked pretty good even at 181, but at 125.. even better! Great job!

My bigger question there was the METs.. 26 METs is INSANE. I think I've accomplished 22-23 METs on the treadmill a time or two for about a 30 second interval. Lately with very high effort I can keep a bit above a 15 cal/min effort according to the machines at my gym, and this is at 180lbs.. that 450 estimate is probably a…

If he weighs 120lbs, a 160 one rep max is probably about normal given any lack of previous training. But it is true, a lot of guys, for some reason, decide to forego lower body training altogether, or make a severe lack of it. I've seen many Atlas dudes at the gym who get on the leg press and have trouble doing anything…

I read exactly this far and what popped into my head.. start hittin' the weights! You won't get all bulky and dude-like, and you will love the results!
-
Damn, amazing transformation - you look awesome!

This. I am not a fan of combining sweet food with salty food with the exception of some Asian varieties.

I'll usually just observe and move on, although if it's someone I'm working out with, I'll be glad to help fix the matter. Luckily, I've only had to deal personally with minor issues, like calf synergy during shrugs and half-reps on certain things. I've seen some crazy stuff, though.. people using their whole body so they…

Sounds to me more like interval type training, which is cardiovascular - not a bad thing because it will burn more calories, but it doesn't work the same as strength training.

At 6'3" I would recommend slowly working your way back up to around 2000-2500 calories per day - the 1200 calories a day will work for a while but it ultimately isn't sustainable, and the best way to not just lose weight, but to keep it off, is to eat in a manner that can be sustained for life. I'm not sure of your general…

Just hit 28 myself! Pretty much any friend request is welcome :-)

Anyone else who completed another revolution around the sun today would happen to share their birthday with myself!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fML2u24qvTg I've often seen this referred to as the hardest push up in the world. It is indeed tough but personally I have a harder time with planche push ups than these.

When I wake up and am just barely conscious, it's been as low as 46-48. Generally awake but before any kind of working out.. 55-58ish. Post-workout, I rarely get it to drop under 60 before sleep.

As long as you aren't faint, lightheaded, dizzy, and completely dying for breath.. you should pretty much be fine. Heart rate zones vary so much from person to person it's insane.
-
The guys are intimidated!

Guess: 25-ish? Profile look: phew, not far off at all (I guess mine will be easier given my username, lol)
-
Bit young for my general range but if nothing else I'd take you out for Japanese, lol.
-
I have been single for three years myself so I am rusty if anything on this topic, but I would say yes, that there is life after heartbreak. I'd go far enough to say it is largely what we make of it.

This. I will also take a breather and knock things down a few notches if I am in need of some active recovery.
-
OP, your legs look fine - if anything, they could use a bit more size yet! Believe it or not, most of us guys dig that.
-
You've overcome quite a lot.. fantastic results!

I have been sticking to more of a 4-5 day routine lately that is laid out as follows: Day 1: chest/shoulders/triceps Day 2: back/biceps/core Day 3: legs Day 4: cardio Occasional/optional day 5: yoga I try to throw in a little bit of cardio on days 1-2 and sometimes I'll randomly do core work on another day, but I generally…

I'll use my cell phone (notepad) to keep track of my workout and I'll answer texts, but I generally will do that after I've completed a station - I agree that station hogs suck!
-
I doubt they are anything substantial. I had some samples from GNC (caffeine pills basically) that contained raspberry ketones, but the only thing I really noticed was increased energy and some appetite loss, but that was likely due to the caffeine load. Not something I'd waste extra money on!

Amazing results.. good job!
-
Pretty!

I'm dreading it just a bit, but I've gotten into the habit of not going during the rush, so I generally have a pretty free run of things for the most part. I don't expect too much resistance, and maybe I'll even get to help some people out in the process, haha!
