Few decent PRs from this weekend myself: Decided to go pretty close to all-out on the stationary bike for six minutes to end off a cardio session Friday night - pulled out 2.17 miles in that span ^____^ Hit six reps bench press with 100lb dumbbells yesterday and was able to hit a set of ten on the hack squat machine today…

Whatever makes you feel best, OP. I feel either one looks great!

I'm not sure what today's wind chill is, but it's still -13F here in Indy. Luckily, we're supposed to hit a high of like 12F today, so it's a matter of toughing out the earlier part of the day. I'm hoping at work (car dealership) the main task isn't yet to dig out cars that are buried! Let the warm incoming temperatures do…

I'm only 5'8" so I feel almost like sumo style would be cheating in a way, haha. I stick to conventional and occasionally, stiff leg dead lifting if I want to really hit on the hamstrings.

Perhaps!

Afternoon legs day here!

This - or even more torturously, as I once did attempting a timed pec-deck, change ace to 15 reps >=}

I would say it is a solid Insanity replacement, especially at the extended time frame. The last time I shoveled snow, it was probably 10 degrees outside and I came in quite damp not from snow, but from sweat.

I pretty much take aim, see what I do on exercises, and then try for more the next time around, whether it's more reps or more weight. Having to use both decks for leg press is fun and gets people gawking somewhat; I also have enjoyed seeing some of the bigger guys come into the gym and dead lift some pretty solid weight,…

I'd have to say so!

Get at 'em! I'm on a personal challenge this month to do at least 100 push ups and 50 pull ups daily, so I'll be getting mine in.

All you gotta do there is run. To really gain much muscle, especially as a female, you have to really have the right diet and workouts for it. No amount of running will bulk you up.
-
I'm not shocked so much, necessarily, but these are some portions I used to have: ***Lunch at work? -Two double cheeseburgers or two double hamburgers from Burger King or McDonald's. -Snack food from the gas station comprised entirely of empty calories (name your variation of the Java Monster, often paired with some…

A lot of their heavier and initial weight losses are water weight. They also have tons of on-site medical professionals present should anything go wrong.

Counting calories is great and I'm a pretty hardcore calorie logger, but I did an experiment early this year that really brought into question for me whether it boils ONLY down to the calories in versus calories out. December 26, 2012 - I weighed 184.6 pounds - I decided at this point that it was time to cut down. February…

All of the ladies on this page!

Touch and go, unless my form is going to hell, then I will reset briefly. None of that momentum crap though, I see too many people do that whether it's benching, deadlifting, curling [in the squat rack], etc...

I personally don't care about them - thigh gap or no thigh gap, I'd be content seeing well-toned legs! lol

I just exist, haha. I've pretty much never run into any sexual attention that I could perceive.

Clean eating is THE best and proven way to lose weight and get healthier, hands down. IMO, paying a premium for Advocare or any other similar stuff is kind of like adding octane booster to a naturally aspirated vehicle.. it's not really going to do much good without the right engine (in the case of our bodies, a good…

I don't think it would be a bad idea for someone to start with just the bar if they don't know form properly for the moves. If form isn't a question though.. I don't see an issue working up somewhat quickly to find where your strength currently lies.

That's way too low. I don't trust the machine fully though, so what I like to do is take the machine's number, cut off 20% and log that. I usually do the following: LifeFitness 91x Maintain between 7.2 and 9.0 miles per hour pace depending on how I feel Maintain heart rate of around 160bpm, sometimes in intervals I'll…

The two best options I see here are to move to a different treadmill if he takes the one next to you, or to come with a friend, preferably a guy. If I were said treadmill dude, either of those would pretty much get the idea locked in, lol.

I feel I could knock out an excellent time on this - my biggest limitation being pull ups, probably, because I refuse to kip like I often see in Crossfit (not to have that come off as haterade, either, just saying). I have pulled off 200 push ups and 100 pull ups in about 14 minutes in the past, breaking briefly between…

I would recommend starting with doing as many standard/full range push ups as you can do. Once you can't complete any more of those, move on to push ups on your knees - then if those become too difficult even incorporate wall push ups. Aim to do more standard push ups over time.

Yep! And aside from my confession/posting here.. I generally refrain on complaining much about those issues. Action will take care of them in good time. Let's see.. I confess.. that I love road trips even though they can get exhausting

It sucks! And you know, before THAT real date, it had been almost three years!
-
It's definitely a personal thing and depends on both involved - and to be an item I would say both involved must agree to it, of course! The last relationship I was in, I dated the girl for probably a month or so (seeing her pretty much every day during that time) before we were "official" although within probably a week…

I'll promise you, I have. THE. WORST. LUCK. When it comes to the field of dating, lol. It pretty much boils down to this: - I'm very introverted and very rarely actually approach girls in person, something that is very much on my bucket list of things to get better at - I confess that I am a little bit picky (not to the…
