  • Oh my gosh! No idea! Are you trying to decide what to eat? I'd check Chiles online, their nutritional guide. They have a lot of very similar items so it would probably give you a good idea. Good luck!
  • I would never stop going to the gym :noway: . I work out at home with videos and weights too, but I cherish my gym time, not only for the workout but it's my head clearing and relaxation time, as crazy as that sounds! And I figure I'd be spending that money on something probably worse or more unnecessary if I had it. Do…
  • Sodium is killer!!! I had the hardest time with the whole sodium issue when I first started out. I just didn't see any way I could get my calories in without it. I learned a lot by checking out my friends food diaries. It really is possible to do it! I made THE MOST INCREDIBLE taco salad tonight and the entire meal was…
  • Load up on proteins and fiber! Makes you feel full longer  . When you eat a meal, put it on a smaller plate. It's psychological, but I still feel like I'm getting a whole plate full; full size dinner plates are so big now. Oh, and drink LOTS OF WATER! So important for so many reasons. Good luck!
  • I used to have my MFP linked to FB too and unlinked it! I got all kinds of weird comments too. I just chalked it up to the fact that I must be making some people feel lazy  ! Luckily I have a very supportive family and, of course, my MFP family that just rocks beyond words!! You just do what you need to do for…
  • Good for you!!!!! That's gotta feel soooo great! :drinker:
  • It's only 1 meal!! It's not a train wreck, only a little derailment. You're not going to go the rest of your life without eating food like that. You are obviously doing an amazing job and big congrats to you!! Now get your caboose back on the track and eat a good dinner  .
  • Hi, my name is Marnie and I'm a MFP addict. I think sometimes my hubby thinks I'm having an affair online! :noway: I fit all the above criteria to a "T"!
  • Are you tracking your sodium? Sodium can be killer on the scale, and the bod! Definately watch that. And definately measure yourself. The scale can be rally frustrating and fluctuate 2-5 lbs any given day, but the measurements don't lie! I've lost 26 lbs, which in the scheme of things isn't huge compared to some. But, I've…
  • I always wondered if that thing worked!! Almost looks to easy and good to be true  . Thanks for the info. I'll be looking forward to how it goes!
  • Beautifully said, and without all the drama and know-it-all attitude that gets flipped around here daily. Now I just hope the right people read it! Thanks so much for sharing your story! :flowerforyou:
  • Fresh boneless skinless breasts are the best, very low sodium. I buy tons when they're on sale and freeze them. When you buy the frozen ones they still seem to have preservatives and some have "added" flavor that really bumps up the sodium. Try raw almonds instead of the crackers; you still get the "crunch" factor and…
  • BRAVO!!!! So nicely explained! This needs to be required reading for all new MFP members before they can use the site!! :drinker:
  • That calorie burn sounds about right to me. As long as your watch says it's receiving a good signal it should be fine. If mine moves around or I bend over and scrunch it too much it tells me signal was lost but comes right back when I straighten up. I'm sure it's fine  . Oh, and great work out by the way!
  • When my grandson has a snack I eat the crumbs! LOL  Hey, at least it give me a "taste"! And I don't log the crumbs!
  • I agree!!! When I was in high school I weighed 115-120, and I'm 5'8"! I never had to diet (I ate like a fiend) but I was really active and played a lot of sports. Looking back at picture of myself then I'm apalled...I looked like a bony stick! Yuk! Even though it wasn't on purpose back then, I would never want to be that…
  • I used to have a couple a night, especially in the summer (sometimes more on really hot days  ). I never drank to get drunk, totally for the kicking back and relaxing thing too! I'm sure that helped contribute to the 50+ pounds I packed on! I'm not going to give beer up totally, I just save up or work out…
  • You need to eat at least 1200 cals. a day to maintain good health, keep your organs working properly, etc. And that's with NO exercise. On days you exercise you should be eating at least 2/3 of those cals. burned back. If you burn 600 calories, bump you total calorie intake for the day up to 1600-1800. You need to refuel…
  • I'm usually a pretty nice person but I gotta say I agree with ufasupa New Jersey up there! That is just blatantly rude. Ignore them; they are obviously not happy with themselves so they have to bring others down. Be proud and shout it from the roof tops if you feel like it! :drinker:
  • LOL! Don't need to flirt...best hubby in the world right here. Told me today I was looking hot!! I do know what you mean though!!
  • UNDER! But I was toooooooo pis**ed to eat!
  • 30 day shred is good but Biggest Loser cardio max is even better (I think). You can customize your work-outs up to 50 minutes. When I do the entire 50 min. I burn an average of 500-600 cals. per my HRM. I thought it would kill me the first time but I love it now and it only costs $7-$10 most places. Good luck finding…
  • You can do that here, food tab and recipe tab. Just enter all your ingredients and it figures out the calories and nutritional value for you. Took me a while to figure that one out

  • "KICK"! You can do it! Even if you can fit it 20-30 minutes somewhere it all helps.
  • I hate that! Makes me angry too  for you! Feels like vandalism to your soul  . Ignore them. You are working hard to improve your health and life. That person probably just trolls websites looking to make people miserable. What comes around goes around. I believe in karma! Hang in there! You're doing a great job…
  • I discovered I have a waist again
  • Peeked at your diary...hope you don't mind. It would probably help if you increased your fiber intake significantly. Fiber helps to keep you full and is really important. Try some Fiber One bars for a snack. Not bad at all in calories and lots of fiber! And there are some yummy flavors. Oroweat Light bread is also…
  • Are you working out? I know when I started I was starving all the time too. Hubby told me (who has worked out for years) that it was because I finally got my metabolism going again. So that's a good thing! Eat lots of protein and fiber; it will keep you feeling full longer. And drink tons of water! Good luck!
