Thanks melinda6569! When I first started on MFP, I would browse through all the Success Stories and each one was so inspiring and motivating. I aboslutely loved when people posted their Before and After pictures. I'm looking forward to reaching my goal weight where I can post my "goal weight" picture

Thanks d_smith85! I donated almost all my old clothes, but kept just one pair as a small reminder for me of where I was. I'm glad I did! I never felt that big, but it's eye opening to realize just how far I have come. Helps when I need that extra push and motivation.

Thanks cougs12! I know it's hard to keep logging everyday. MFP has been one of the main tools for me in helping me along the way. Makes it easier with the phone app so I can log as I go.

Thanks leanda31! That's great to hear you're doing you first 5K in July! I completed C25K in March and have done two 5K races so far. I have another one in 2 weeks. Currently working towards training for a 10K - then going to aim for a half marathon after that. Look forward to hearing how your race goes!

Thanks elle18287! The dog in the picture is my running coach  He's helped me complete C25K and runs with me regularly

Thanks for all your support stenochick  If it wasn't for MFP, I would've never heard of C25K and would have never thought to do a 5K race!

Thanks cowpoke06! It was hard for me to put up the pictures, it shows the progression - but it's scary that I let myself get to that point in the first place. I'm so happy to have found MFP since it has provided such a huge support for me :)

I have about 30-40 to lose. Been very slow lately. I'm trying to make adjustments here and there, but still pretty slow.

So glad you posted this topic! I've been using fabric softener for my workout clothes, now I realize I'm not supposed to. Hopefully I haven't ruined them. I'm going to start washing them separately.

I'm a type 2 diabetic, I was diagnosed in 2006. I had no symptoms prior to being diagnosed, the only indicator for me was my obesity. That's why they call diabetes the silent killer because some of the symptoms go unnoticed or maybe you don't have any symptoms (like me). I think it's great you're getting tested, the…

That's great you can run on the treadmill for 30 mins straight! I just finished my first 5K after graduating from the C25K program. I did a combo of running outside and did a few runs on the treadmill. It is a lot different. You can try to take it outside and get used to running in the elements. I think it'd be great for…

Thank you for your comment! Yeah, that stomach area is just so annoying. I'm hoping to not have to do surgery, but won't even consider it till I reach my goal weight. Great idea to try a cami! I have those readily available, will try that for my run tomorrow and see if it helps.
