I took a break this weekend and did light running/walking to fully recover from the bronchitis. I also swam! I did 3.1 for pace yesterday and had a piltaes certification yesterday. Tomorrow I am going to try and get 7-9 in during kids rest time. I would love to be outside but it's dark so early that by the time my husband…

I have a 5k on March 16, Gazelle Girl 1/2 is April 13th and the 5/3 Riverbank Run 25K is 5/11. I also have a couple urban adventure races I will do this year. Oh and the color run just 1 5K though.

I did 6 miles today. Tomorrow will be a running day off. Either lifting or swimming-haven't decided yet

I have been fighting bronchitis and was happy to get in a 3.5 mile run on the treadmill today without coughing!

First off your look great in your weight loss pic. Way to go! Love that you sneak outside to run that's awesome

I completely agree and that's why I am cutting back on a lot of my extra cardio except TurboKick. I am an instructor and need to keep practicing. I am actually thinking of starting Les Mills Pump at home for strength, I do some strength at the gym but am better off following a program when it comes to that.

I had issues with map my run also. I now use Nike+ app on my phone

That's awesome. Have you heard of MAF training? Maximum Aerobic formula. The theory is to train smart and not race yourself. The formula is: 180-age (-5 is deconditioned; 0 if healthy; +5 if fit and healthy). This gives you what your HR should be around. Your aerobic endurance will increase by training slower. The hard…

What's HH training?

First off get rid of the word "diet" it's a life style change. If you are dieting you are most likely not going to stick with it very long, but if you are committing to making a lifestyle change then you will. Now as far as "treats" there truly is no right answer to this. Do I have the occasional treat- Yes. But I also…

I wear my bodybugg and log it as my own exercise. It is going to vary per person on what you burn so it's hard to use what people type in.
-
Love to help keep you motivated and reaching your goals. What are your goals? I have lost 60 pounds overall and 48 of those with MFP and proper nutrition and exercise. I am almost at my goal weight.

If mornings work best than stick with that. The biggest thing I have found is scheduling my workouts- writing them down on the calendar, etc. Then everyone knows I am busy during that time and I have it in front of me to get up and get moving. I vary between mornings and nights due to 3 kids. I also vary what I do. I just…

No but considering it. I have done the one for TurboFire and had great results. I did it right before a cruise knowing I would gain..LOL

Another thought is you may have diastasis recti.-basically an abdominal separation that pregnant women can get. Where I live there is a place you can go to get checked and then they have a "plan" they out you on. I had friends with this as I somehow avoided it. They have you were a wrap for a while and then give you…

I love that she is not the normal stick figure to many teen girls think they need to look like. Skinny does not mean healthy. She looks great and healthy. Those boobs are probably half her weight...LOL

Yes you can not spot reduce but you can do more core exercises and watch what you are eating. As the saying goes Abs are 80% diet 20% gym. Clean eating is the key. For exercises I love planks, push ups, all kinds of sit ups. I have also found Hip Hop Abs to be fun and it's standing up ab routines. Oh and I also like Tracy…

1200 is an artificial number and not something you should go by. Each person is so different. It really depends on so many factors. I would personaly start at around 1400-1500 and see if how it goes. That's how I figured out what worked best for me and weight loss.

We are our own worse critic (if that makes sense). You look far from chubby
-
Also I would make your food diary public so those of us who would really like to give you some honest feedback could. You can friend me if you prefer only friends see the diary,

First so sorry for the rude responses people have sent. I would aim for more clean eating and definitely eating more calories (healthy ones). Besides the calories though you need to look at the fat/carb/protein intake. You can try switching things up some as far as exercising. Throw in cardio and strength training. I…

I am so stealing this for my Zumba crew if you don't care :-)
-
I think it all depends on the instructor. I have been to a couple that were not good at all and others that were awesome. But it's the same as any workout-- you have to find one you like and will stick to. It's not for everyone.

Try going slower with the reps (pause the dvd) that way it feels heavier and you should feel it a little more to.
-
Loving the program! My "bum bum" is feeling it
-
Are you not lifting enough the? If using bands use the highest resistance

Because people can't seem to put info in correctly. Happens all the time with foods unfotunately. WWith the chooclate is it regular or vegan? I have to double check on Vegan but I know the regular is 150 cals a scoop. I personally like mine with almond milk and fruit.

Who has started? I just realized I put 6/16 in the topic (oops). I missed day 1 so am officially starting tonight.
