I've done weight watchers and it IS hard to do when you don't have someone to do it with. I'm considering doing it this summer. maybe get my daughter doing it with me. Now that she's of an age that she can. I will start educating her on the program this summer.

Oh and for portion sizes. a NORMAL meat portion is the size of a deck of cards or the size of you fist. That is approx. 3-4oz. take a cooked meat portion and cut it into 3-4 parts. That would make it about an ounce of meat.

Start with the leanest meat possible. Eggs, tuna, other light fish, lean chicken..in small portions..red meat is going to affect you the most because of the higher fat content. It's just a matter of starting one or two bites at a time..

Garlic pepper is my biggest go to for any seasoning on ANYTHING. For Roasted veggies I sometimes use ranch dip mix...Sometimes I will just put extra onion and minched garlic in when roasting veggies.

I drank wine coolers during my senior year in college..and did a little drinking but never more than a wine cooler during me after college years. BUT I haven't had a drink of ANYTHING in over 5 years. Not appealing at all at this point in my life. I see what it does to my MIL..and I for one am not going to be her.

I eat what the other do for dinner. I set my breakfast lunch and snacks geared towards me because I"m the only one at home during the day. At dinner I just measure my portions so that I'm keeping inside my counts.

I do it sometimes. I set up weekly menus for shopping purposes, and unless I change it up a little and make the meals on different days then originally scheduled I usually have the right meals down each day

No. Because I can't afford to pay. It's why I don't go to weight watchers or use their site. To get what we get on here on weightwatchers.com you have to pay for it. I like this site and would hate to leave it but I will if ever it goes pay

Don't weigh yourself everyday. you body weight changes throughout the day due to the amount of fluid your body will retain. Pick one day of the week and weigh in that day. I weigh in on Sunday mornings most of the time.

This is what I do. for every 10lbs I lose I go in a update my weight so that it changes my calorie intake. If you are eating too far below their recommendation your body will go into starvation mode and hold onto those lbs as much as possible. to help this idea along. Change plate sizes. If you are using your biggest dinner plate. Move down to a salad or dessert plate. I do it all the time. It's how I control my portions.

I use to tell my hubby when we met that I was short fat and all of that. with a bag of chips on the side. :) He fell in love with me even at 250lbs. :)

Then you are looking in the wrong place for a man. When I met my husband I was 274 lbs and he was just around 200lbs. After we met I dropped down to like 230lbs but gained some of it back and when we married I was at 250lbs. He gained up to that while I gained up to 300lbs with my first kid. Thanks. I usually use a non stick spray to keep it from sticking. I actually just buckled down and actually deboned and removed the skin from two of the pieces to have enough for everyone to have a second piece if they wanted and I slapped them on the grill. It's my choice way to cook them. I love thigh meat.

I can understand the need to lose that much weight.. I have a goal for the next year. Thing about frying eggs on it you will have to lift the front of it to level the grill out before frying an egg on it. It's possible just extra work.

I can remember my mother cutting up several cucumbers and putting them in a light salt brine and store it in the fridge to serve with dinner at night. I loved them. Would eat half the container myself. It's why I wondered if they could be canned.
