Yes ...I was shocked how off I was in tracking cals. It was only when I started weighing foods, I got a true idea of portion sizes and accurately logging.

I have insanity and max 30 as well...I don't mind joining in .

If I am doing cardio and strength on the same day ...I usually lift then do some cardio after. That way I am not tired when I am strength training

I love a spicy cabbage soup but not for 7 days straight.

I eat a myriad of veggies and fruit as I enjoy the variety. Cruciferous veggies ans zucchini are my favorite. I love frozen fruit as well.

I love insanity and insanity max 30. Doing a hybrid of insanity max 30 and body beast. P90x is also a solid workout program but I can't commit to the length of time for some of those workouts.

You can out eat any exercise regimen. To lose weight you have to eat at a calorie deficit. A food scale and mfp can be used to track and log your calories. Best wishes!

I usually drink water or a hot cup of tea. If I still want something to eat - my go to snacks are greek yogurt, cottage cheese, fruit or string cheese.

Don't have snacks readily available or eat healthy filling snacks such as greek yogurts, handful of nuts, nut butter with banana/apple/celery. This will keep you satiated. Stay occupied with other activities - workouts on youtube, craft with the kids, go out for walks. Basically distract yourself

Why don't you do a hybrid so you alternate weight lifting days and insanity days? P90x and body beast are beach body programs that offer weight training.

I have one small piece and fit it into my calories if I really want the chocolate. Typically I walk with my own snacks which is usually greek yogurt, fruit, cottage cheese, string cheese or hard boiled egg. I almost always have a can of tuna, oatmeal with cinnamon and protein powder stash in my drawer.

Consider doing a hybrid if you never tried both workouts. I have done both workouts and they're fantastic.

I prefer homemade for certain items so I can cook in bulk and freeze. Desserts I usually buy premade though.

I have to try protein sludge. I usually do eggs with spicy salsa or crustless quiche. Greek yogurt - I buy plain and stir frozen fruit Cottage cheese with sliced berries or pineapple if I am in the mood for sweet or sometimes savoury with salsa and chives.

I'm actually doing p90x and insanity hybrid as well. I will swap some p90x3 vids if I am short on time (yoga x will be one of those ). P90 series is such a great workout series.
