I am doing the situp program also, it's a good one. I thought I was pretty good at it but I know I can't do 200 so that's why I started. I started at week three level 2 and it's kicking my butt.

You should be proud of yourself for just logging in your diary again. That is always for the first step for me, taking a look at what I am doing. Because when I'm not looking I am then out of control. Good job and welcome back!

What about hazelnuts? I love them and I love hazelnut natural butter and walnut natural butter.

It is also really good to mix with plan yogurt, garlic and cucumber in a blender for either salad dressing or my favorite, falafel topping.

Oh my gosh, it sounds as though your mother-in-law has the same problem as you once did. Peer pressure comes in many forms and the only way to combat it is to be strong and let her know you dont want to harm yourself by following her destructive and risky weight loss method. I would even suggest if possible to limit…

Exactly, it's liberating! I feel for some reason in more control and excited about my journey. Not dreading it like I have in the past. It's still early in my program but you just know when something clicks, you just know when the light bulb goes on.

You also learn that bad stuff is not always as bad as you think it is. Welcome aboard!!!!
I used to say I will work for food, and I did! I actually stopped making dinner one night to go work out because I wanted to eat a roll with a pat of butter on it. I had enough cals for the roll, but not the butter so I went back and worked out another 20 min on the elliptical:laugh:
WOW! I love…

I quit smoking 2 years ago and put on 10 pounds. Well, I did evidentially stop gaining weight but never went back to smoking and I honestly can say that I no longer miss it a bit! Congratulations to you for stopping and keep it up! From my personal experience it is harder to quit smoking than it is to loose weight. You'll…

I also just did the initial exhaustion test for 200 sit ups (found it within the pushup logger link) and was suprised I could do 35. So my next check in will include both push ups and sit ups workouts.

Ok, so has anyone seen the companion to the hundredpushups.com site???? Try 200 hundred squats! http://twohundredsquats.com/ I think I'll be adding this to my program starting tomorrow! Anyone care to join me?

When I know it's that time of the month I tell myself "this is temporary and that tomorrow this will be gone", try and just make it through the day. I get the same craving and it's insane but I find if I can identify the trigger (i.e. TOM) then I sometimes have a better time getting through it. Other tricks include eating…

Ok....this looks like a fun challenge! I'm in! I did the test and can complete a meager 8 push-ups. But I think I will be starting in column 1 because those 8 were very tough. I'd rather be successful all the way through and go slower.

My fav breakfast is 4 whole egg whites and one whole egg, a tablespoon of low fat milk and scramble with some onion flakes. Then I usually toss in about a quarter half tomato, a quarter avocado and maybe left over veggies from the night before like asparagus or green beans. It runs usually under 300 calories. Some times if…

Welcome Stephanie!!! I am also new as of this weekend and know exactly what you mean about the motivation. What I done is join a running clinic that actually starts tonight. I have never run before but I do a great deal of hiking and other activities and have always wanted to learn how to run. We also have a wonderful…
