Yes, this too! I eat everything all the time so those days when I do eat over are from hunger or special circumstances. Never because I just really want something that i have told myself I can't have. (When I say hunger, I mean above and beyond the normal, cutting back hunger. Those ravenous days we can get on occasion!)

No one has "attacked" her yet and you still post this. *insert eyeroll* OP, I have days where I have to eat away from home or I am just extra hungry or a special occasion, whatever, days when I want to eat more. I try to log and keep it at maintenance, I don't always succeed, but it usually helps mitigate the damage even…

OK, well that's why i asked the question. I'm not sure I understand why you continue to post here when the regulars know you have an eating disorder and then get disgruntled when we don't praise you for whatever behavior you're touting that day.

Does your therapist know you do this? When you say you won't allow yourself to eat your eggs yet, are they prepared and you're making yourself wait or are you just putting off eating until an appointed time?
-
For me and fast food it's been about giving myself permission to have it. So then when I go, it's not "special" and I am not "breaking the rules." It's just a meal and as such, what's my best choice to order? You'll start to figure out what to order.

What?

I can tell you from experience, this will only get better when you stand up to them. How would you react if anyone else called you a *kitten*? Probably with anger and horror, right? Your parents deserve no less. They'll either cut it out or you may end up breaking ties indefinitely but you should not allow the behavior to…

We have reached the point in MFP where everyone was nice and truthful and there are people outraged over it.

I'm bored.

Here's your flag.

I'm so sorry, I missed her question about the app. Could you point it out to me?

I did Atkin for two, maybe three days before downing an entire loaf of French bread. It's just not for me. LOL Calorie cutting has worked great, though!

If you have your Fitbit set up correctly, what it's actually telling you is that you're more active than expected and should eat some more calories. You shouldn't gain by eating them. At the end of the day my total burn on Fitbit - my deficit = the same number of calories MFP tells me to eat with my adjustment. That tends…

I didn't take it as condescending either. I took it more as, if you don't take care of yourself and your health, then you won't be there for your children. Purging can be dangerous.

I'm in the camp with those telling you obese yes, morbidly no. It does matter what he calls it because it is a medical term and it's being used incorrectly. I don't take offense to it, but I agree it's an ugly word. I started out actually morbidly obese and have dropped the morbidly part, so I guess that's…

I guess I am in a good position as I have been a normal weight in the past. My lowest weight was about 119 and I looked fine then. I was like a size 2, I don't think I could have gone much smaller. That said, it took a lot of work to get there. I easily maintained 136 for years before getting down to that and now that I am…

Is this a typo?

What everyone is trying to tell you is that you can lightly glaze with olive oil, regular bread crumbs, and bake it and achieve the same thing. If you need to eliminate gluten for medical reasons, that's fine. But in this scenario you've outlined, it's not the gluten free part that's making it better. When you finish this…

That's good! Weight can do funky things sometimes, so just get used to it. :) But as long as it's overall a downward trend, you're golden.

Y'know, now that you mention it, I really don't either. I know I will want a snack at night, so I have it and that's that. I used to think I was a "can't start or I'll eat the whole box" type of person but I think that's because I made the food forbidden, so once I had one and "broke the rules," I figured I might as well…

I would solve this dilemma by eating sugar. But that's just me.

It's incredibly hard for strangers to tell you what to eat. None of us knows what you like or dislike or how many calories you want to spend. This is part of the learning process, trial and error. What have you been eating? Eat that, just less of it.
-
Really, what does it explain?
-
A portion of what? That's kind of vague and generalized.

And the upside to all of this recomp advice, OP? You have plenty of calories to fit in your peanuts and beer! Seriously, this is the way to go. You'll be much happier with the end result.
