I would not do that but I think I could if I had to lol Edit: your name suggests you are a zombie, I would not stand a chance.

Edit since you jumped in before I could get mine done: Tia Carrera

Hard to see it clearly but Marc Wahlberg Edit: for the record, prior answer on same profile of "Bruce Jenner" is a good one, better than mine.

Tuna is prepared and/or sold in a number of ways, my only advice (not knowing fully what you are running into) is try it in other forms like a nice ahi tuna tartare, other sushi sort of presentations, tuna steak, or as others have said, skip it, it's not a unique source of anything that I'm aware of.

If freak means a pirate, then I'm in, otherwise as a happily married man, I probably would have to stay out of this one.

I'm married so no dating for me at all, but otherwise probably, always depended on meeting them and then deciding, never on just a picture.

Worked out a lot, then got a spine injury leaving me at 200 pounds with a 30" waist, 15" biceps, nice shoulders, nice quads, six pack, etc. Fast forward from there to 9 years later and I am 227.6 pounds, chubby, out of shape and only my tendency to gain weight "all over evenly" and being 6' tall has kept people from seeing…

You are not insane, you are in a culture where it is considered normal to eat a meal drenched in fatty oils, sugar and dairy. Keep up the good fight and we don't care if the waiter stares at you like you are some odd narwhal that just materialized at his table, we've got your back. Of course you are a bit obsessed,…

I am often way up there or a bit over on my protein intake, I've never worried about it. MFP is a great web site and a great community, but you'll find you are better off digging in and really finding out what works for you as far as how much protein, how little sugar, etc. The settings on these things have NEVER made…

Castaic, CA. It's a less populated and more desert climate area in the north part of Los Angeles County, part of a region called Santa Clarita Valley. "The suburbs". Soccer moms, shopping malls and Jamba Juices.

I'm right there with you and I had the same question. I now (mostly) ignore the sugar allotment thing. MFP is a guide, it's not an actual diet designed for you in the wake of a medical examination and interview of YOU. I eat one piece of fruit per day and I eat carrots now and then. I just make sure I eat fresh fruit and…

Excellent, yeah I only like raw forms of sugar and raw fresh carrots anyhow, I'm gonna ignore the sugar counter thing and just eat healthy and sensibly.
-
40 pounds lost, most definitely it has worked for you! Thanks, I'll just keep doing what I thought I am supposed to, which is use it as a guide, not a mantra.
-
That makes total sense to me, yeah I avoid the refined sugar completely, now I can enjoy my apples and pears without fretting about it.
-
Thanks, that makes sense and was what I was hoping to hear on all counts!

Everyone is different but green leafy vegetables, cruciferous family vegetables, fiber and water can help pad the tummy to make you feel less hungry.

Unsweetened apple pie, love it with coffee in the morning. Basically I make an apple pie without the added sugar. Yes, as you can imagine, it does tend to be a bit dry and unfortunately the pie crust is mega carbs no matter what you do, but once in a while, I gotta have it.

Chicken marinated in tequila, a little bit of sweet (like agave), lemon juice and chili powder can be very nice on the grill. Chicken cooked with sage and lemon served with couscous is very nice, a light middle-eastern variation.

I'm liking this particular thread, think I'll pull up a chair and hang out.

I deliberately try to overestimate how much of a portion I take and often find out I was very accurate. I think the potential to shift reality a bit is there for most of us and you just learn your own tendencies and then adjust.

Uninformed handling of coffee can be bad. Quick answer, be sensible and it's not an issue. In my experience, I think pitfalls of coffee to avoid are: 1) ultra high calorie and sugary "coffee" drinks that are really coffee flavored desserts. 2) adding half and half adds calories and fat, and people often kid themselves that…

Don't worry too much. People love and use MFP but if you end up not being sure what the heck happened on a particular day, just move forward with the next day and realize you are a trooper for keeping up the fight for health etc. I would remove the item that you vomited from your calories. I doubt that it will greatly…

If you have carbs room in your food for the day, I love couscous with salmon.

What one person is doing is in context to their lifestyle, approach, diet, and body, first of all. I can only tell you what I do with fruit: because of the higher level of sugar (read: carbs) in fruit, I use fruit as a desert, "treat" or snack. And like anything else I do, I track exactly how many calories I'm consuming…
