Day 8 of level one now! Looked up what we have to do on level 2 in preparation... I'm sooo not looking forward to that.

On day 7 and here to tell you the soreness DOES go away! However I have had rest days when its been too much for my muscles. Give your muscles a bit of rest and the soreness will go away :) Apparently Jillian only reccommends you do this 5-6 times a week anyway, the 30 day thing was just a marketing campaign so I've heard.

Urgh I hate it when she does the 'just a couple more' thing too! Bah. The other thing I hate is when she says 'i bet you can feel the burn' and then I realise it hurts like hell! Don't remind me of the pain woman! Overall, I don't think shes too bad and I enjoy the workout. I'm on day 6 so its getting quite repetitive now…

It came off in the order it went on. Came off face, then thighs/legs, then boobs and has now started to come off waist and stomach :)

The punches, the side lunges and the push ups are the worst for me. Other than that I'm completely fine with level 1! My thighs burnnn with the punches.

Just finished level one day 1. Not AS bad as I thought it would be but I'm still drenched in sweat and for the last minute couldn't do anything but lie on the floor panting. Can definitely feel the workout though and I love that its only 20 mins! I did do the strength bit with pasta sauces though as I don't have any…

I am running the 5k101 running programme, so definitely starting slow! I only run for 2.5 minute intervals at the moment. Also, I only run outside on concrete pavement so I may have to try finding some sort of park to run in if a softer surface will help. I will start doing muscle strengthening exercises and see if it…

I am currently running in Nike Air Max Converge Traix. I understand I need to get fitted but I really can't afford new running shoes. It looks like the average price of them is £80 and that is nearly a 1/3 of my monthly wage! I'll let it rest for a few days and see how I go on Sunday... then I might have to start saving up…

I started week one this week, just one more run to go until week two though! Currently weigh 169lb, lost 4lb since the last time i weighed myself.

What sort of exercises do you do? & what weight dumbells would you recommend? I've never really done any lifting but I don't want to have to keep buying new dumbells for when I need heavier ones due the the aforementioned student status.
