Home weight lifting routine - no bench?
Hi, So I've invested in some weights to help me start lifting at home. I've been researching beginner training plans but most of them seem to include bench presses etc. My problem? I don't have a bench. I have dumbbells and a barbell. Any ideas on a starting plan I could use? Thanks

Sources of protein?
So I've noticed that I'm always under on my protein, and was wondering if anyone has any go-to foods for it? I don't like nuts so they're ruled out. Inexpensive things would be good as I'm a student. (Also, I know I've had a bad week or so with my diary, don't judge!)

Level 2 blues
So I started level 2 on Wednesday... and haven't touched it since. Feel so bad but can't work up the motivation to do it! It was so hard and I could barely do any of the moves correctly :(

about 10lb off target... what should my settings be?
Basically, I've seen a lot of posts around here that say you should change your settings when you don't have a lot to lose. I'm about 10lbs off my target now, so should my settings change? I currently have them to losing 1lb a week, should I put them to 1/2 a lb a week now? When I've done this it gives me another 300 or so…

Shins hurting after running.
Okay I started running two weeks ago and my shins have started to really hurt. I run three times a week so I have plenty of rest days. I know about shin splints and I think thats what this is but I don't know how to prevent it?

Are the calories burned by walking accurate?
On this? I logged like 120 minutes of walking leisurely and it said I burned like 500 calories :huh:

Building muscle mass...
Hi! Right I'm in a predicament. I'm a student and can't really afford to join a gym and so I can't go anywhere to lift weights. Will squats, lunges ect help build muscle mass too? Also, does anyone know what a typical circuits class involves? I'm considering going to one but I'm nervous!
