  • I am joining this group because I am sick of complaining about my weight, either I do something about it or I accept it. I don't want to be the fat girl when I'm out. I am a yo-yo dieter always have been. I would like to build a healthy lifestyle and be done dieting! I love to run and at the beginning of the summer I was…
  • I would love to do this!
  • I am so ready to get started and stay started! I was in a group about 5 months ago and I was doing great, until my life took a turn that was not at all positive. I'm still struggling with some things but I know now that I am important and I deserve to take care of myself and make my weight loss a priority. Here's to the…
  • I have not been around for awhile, I have not weighed in as I have not been following any kind of diet! I completely fell off the wagon and I am having a hard time getting it back hitched! A few problems at home and I am taking a summer class, so it has derailed all my progress. I still check in even if I am not posting.…
  • I could not agree more about being addicted, I also read the posts and I tell myself that when I weigh in I want it to be good, as if I am accountable to all of you. This has been great for me so far and I hope to keep my progress going!
  • I have enjoyed the beautiful weather today. I walked and jogged this morning and I have spent the afternoon gardening and raking the lawn. I must say I am getting a great tan
  • could you be off with your calories, meaning are they more than you are logging? Not sure what the problem could be?
  • After this post I will be hitting the trail with the dog and doing my 3 mile run! I have been shaving time off and that feels great, can now do it in 27 minutes! Next I will have to increase the distance.
  • I'm here, just waiting for the post so I can add my commitment! TEAM ADAM
  • I spent the afternoon in the sunshine gardening and decided to have family over for a cookout, no walk with the dog too lazy now.
  • I've already jogged my 3 miles and I plan on doing some yard work and taking the dog for a 3 mile walk later. Have a good Sunday everyone :flowerforyou:
  • Weigh in today 5/5--159.6 Last week 161.8 Weight lost this week 2.2 Down 4.8 since we started, so happy with that, lets keep it going!!!!!
  • Friday is upon us again and with our weigh in a few days I want to eat sensibly this weekend, try to stay within my calories. Its like when the weekend comes all sanity goes too, it's hard to not splurge! I will go to the gym and get on a treadmill, possibly add some biking in there again. Have a good weekend everyone!
  • Got to the gym and there wasn't a treadmill open so I biked for 20 minutes and then got on a treadmill for 25 minutes. I feel like that was a good day.
  • Since the rain has returned I will be visiting the gym tonight. I am hoping to put in a 4 mile jog and some weights. I say that now but when the time comes it may change! I am not looking forward to the weigh in, not confident like I was last week at all!!!
  • This is such a debate, I have had trouble with this ever since I started counting calories. I do not usually eat any of my exercise calories back. I have my plan set for losing 1 lb/week. So I think I will try to maintain a 500 calorie deficit from exercise that way I should lose 2 lbs/week....who knows!
  • I spent the morning cleaning and then I decided to get outside and hit the trails. I am SO FRUSTRATED with my workouts outside. Before the weather warmed up I was a gym rat and 4 miles jogging on the treadmill was very doable, now jogging 3 miles outside is HELL. Its warm, windy, and hilly all the things the gym is not!…
  • I'm having blueberry pancakes, eggs, and bacon. I love blueberry pancakes
  • Ok I did it I jogged and did a very short walk, I have to say I feel good that I got off the couch! I am planning on taking the dog for a walk tonight, so I will end up doing even more than I wanted to!
  • Honestly I really don't want to do anything today, so I guess my challenge will be finding the energy and motivation to get up and get some sort of exercise in.
  • I was going to make this a rest day, but I decided to go rake the lawn and move some bricks. I think I will be done for the day have to go to work in a few hours. Feels good to get outside.
  • I feel good about week 1, I think that any weight lost is a good thing. I was shocked and excited about the 2.6 I did lose. I worked hard getting in my exercise everyday and staying within my calories. For week 2 I want to start snacking more on veggies and fruit. I will stay the same with the exercise, maybe try to get to…
  • Weight- 161.8 (lost 2.6 lbs...YAY) Arm-12 Bust-37.5 Waist-33 Hip-40 Thigh-23.5 Lost inches too, I worked hard last week and with my results it is encouraging to keep going!
  • Walked the dog for 2 miles and jogged the other 2, all in all a good day. Grilling chicken now can't wait to eat!
  • Didn't make it to the gym but I did everything else!
  • Happy Birthday, you deserve to enjoy that day and splurge! Have a great day and enjoy some cake.
  • I love your posts! Hills are stupid....
  • I have put in a lot of exercise time the last 3 days so I am hoping that the scale will reflect that. I have to work saturday and sunday so I will only be able to do a short workout those days. I am excited to see my progress!!
  • I agree, breaks are very important to let the body rest and repair! I always take a day off a week, sometimes two.
  • I will either jog/walk with the dog, and since it is going to be so nice I want to get outside and clean out my flower beds! I am thinking about going to the gym later today to do some weights. Happy Friday
