  • IUD's have a decent failure rate ~ both my cousin and myself got PG using one. An IUD is placed in the uterus and bounces around......... theres no way a cup could have interfered with the IUD since they are separated by a good distance. This has got to be the funniest, most entertaining thread on MFP right now
  • Took me three times to get through this whole thing because I could not see from the tears as I was  my :embarassed: off, THANK YOU :smooched:
  • I've tried the Moon cup but didn't give it a fair effort and lazily went back to tampons, was a walmart one day and noticed Instead which is still sold today on the top shelf. These worked for a while for me and are way messier than the Moon cup or any of them with stems for you that are fearing the "ick" factor ( you…
  • Glad you caught yourself and stopped the spiral.... the sluggishness and slothiness comes from eating crap, proven fact. Thing about keeping weight off is that its a never ending life change habit. While I've reached my goal, I still keep track so I know where I am and can balance things out, so I can eat whatever without…
  • I like them and buy the biggest box I can, whenever a sweet tooth crave comes along or an uber messed-up eating day I can use one or two of them to stave off a donut or chocolate bar. Gas and all that can happen, but its based on not getting enough fiber all along then adding the chickory root (which is in the bars) to…
  • I think its normal to indulge every so often, feeling sluggish as you stated, might be an indicator something you ate was "too heavy" and cutting back on the amount ( 1/2c. vs. 1c.) might be the ticket. I can now eat mac n cheese without consuming the entire box, a goal for me..... peanut butter and cheese is still a cross…
  • KUDOS! Check out Diamond Dallas Pages YRG workouts I recently pickedup the Fountain of Youth and RAW DVD's can't wait to get relocated and start working on them.... also don't forget swimming is a great option if available to you!
  • I took a quick look at your diary, I'd like to suggest taking that 1440 and divide into your preferred eating habits (3 square meals or 5-6 smaller meals throughout the day) If you use 3/1440 = 480 calories per meal. Remember the food pyramid: fruits and veggies, protein then starches. Go to the store and grab veggies,…
  • Make a doctors appointment, you should get a stress test done as well as a blood sugar test. Members here are NOT medically trained to diagnose via the web and your body is telling you something, please pay attention and seek the answers.
  • YOU look great.......... but I won't tell you to wear that combo out anywhere - in the house or yard, fine...... huge flowers are tacky and cheap looking...... You're not smiling wearing it, so thats the cue
  • I'd add veggies to your dietary intake, since you are seemingly avoiding them, lol the "carbs" off veggies are good ones vs. starches like breads and pasta adding 200 -300 cals by the way of veggies and fruits will give your body good fuel to start burning again
  • MFP is a useful tool to help, not sure what kind of information you put into the settings, but just dealing with 1200 calories a day is fine. Divide the 1200 into your preferred eating habit (3 squares a day or smaller meals spaced throughout) Use the food pyramid; veggies, fruits, protein then starches. Walking your 2 /…
  • fat burners = exercise, plain and simple truth
  • amazinggrass.com
  • I love it! Fantastic in smoothies or homemade v8 juice
  • You need to eat more, if your allowance is 8400 / 7 = 1200 per day - you are consistently under your goal. Excellent on the veggies! but add more protein and get TO the 1200 per day mark, if you want to eat into your exercise bonus feel free up to half of them if you are hungry
  • I love my shakes; I'll do a month of Amazing Grass, the next Vega One. I've ALWAYS been a bad breakfast eater (read nothing) then the rest of the day its flying fork sparks........ using shakes I either have them AS shakes or it will be a smoothie. The benefits have astounded me, and has led to a more informed outlook as…
  • I'm sorry to say but 1200 is probably not correct for you. Use measurements not the scale to reach your goal. I'm going to suggest using 1400 as a starting point, divide that into your preferred eating habit style ( 3 meals / day or 6 smaller ones ) and use a food pyramid of veggies, fruits, meats and starches (lastly…
  • You don't have your diary open for us to see what happened.....but how can you have eaten 1600+ by lunch time? What do you have your settings at? I've fallen face first into a bag a chips, several slices of cheese and trail mix during my days on MFP and its nothing to be proud of, but nothing to really fret over....
  • poking a Like or high 5 button is the lazy way to do something, IMO....... takes 5 seconds to post a reply and means MUCH more than a gazillion random likes
  • Alter the recipe so its healthier, and when they're done....call me I'll zip right over
  • Ma'am  course now that I'm older than that first time, its no bother now...if some smarthat asks for my ID for wine now I just give them a stare down
  • green veggies; broccoli, brussel sprouts, spinach
  • I'll help look for phone and service if you are comfortable sharing a zip code (one where your phone works- not where you live for privacy) and alternates for food ideas.
  • Straight talk 30.00 a month for 1000 mins/text and internet or 45.00 for unlimited - runs on verizon towers, virgin mobile and one other operate off sprint or ATT - Internet: library or wifi at a coffee shop if you don't have a internet capable phone. Store: frozen veggies are on sale all the time, I spend 25.00 a week for…
  • <insert wild applause> CONGRATS!! I am curious though, why you aren't grinning like a banchee in your slimmer pic, concentrating too much?
  • Transplanted Cheesehead in central flatland.... making a jail-break for central TX in a scant few weeks, I CAN'T WAIT!!
  • We can't see your diary to comment on diet, that being said you are 28 and I think 1200 might be too low so its possible your settings aren't quite right. Use a pyramid for food: veggies, fruits meat and carbs. Watch the sodium levels, drink plenty of water. Divide your total caloric intake into meals of how you prefer to…
  • Hide the scale in a closet and leave it there, you missed your own stated achievement: YOU LOST 5 INCHES ALL OVER! You need to eat more good foods like dark green veggies, and steer clear of the boxed/packaged/bought foods. Replace your cake/breads/white rice and pasta with whole grains if you need to eat them. You can…
