To be honest, I don't see the problem. I looked at your food diary and the only real change I'd make is take about 50 grams off your daily carbs and add them to your protein amount. You take in a lot of calories. I assume you're pretty active?0

Your fat goal is pretty low anyway. Don't think you have much to worry about.0

Yeah im just on the last weeks of my second round of P90X. I suppose i should eat more protein as i am trying pack on a bit more muscle but i am also trying to shift the last little stubborn bit of fat from around my waist. I am hoping to do Body Beast soon so i will be eating nearer 4000 calories a day i think.0 -

Try foods with omega III fats. Be sure to stay away from trans fats and saturated fats. Salmon, chicken breast and turkey, nut, EV olive oil, avocados and even protein powder (though I don't like supplements).0

I thought general consensus these days was that calories eaten>calories used = putting on fat/weight while calories used>calories eaten= losing fat/weight.
I haven't worried overly about fat eaten and have been doing fine losing fat, but everyone is different of course.
How about a protein shake if you're looking to keep/enhance muscle?0 -
Okay you want more calories but not from fat? Carbs can be a good source if you're strictly looking to increase your calories. Bagels, bread, pasta, etc. If you want to increase your calories through protein alone I'd suggest whole-milk yogurt, cottage cheese or milk (yes there's fat, but it's not the same as eating a tablespoon on nut butter, yeah?) and of course chicken and turkey.
If you're going to be eating 4000 calories you're going to have to eat more fat unless you're planning on eating 6 whole chickens a day. Lol
Good luck0 -

Why the fat phobia? Eating fat doesn't make you fat. Just stay away from trans fats as they are a non-natural fat.
If anything, I would say you're not eating enough fat. Fat regulates hormones, is essential for vitamin A,E,D and K absorption, helps increase testosterone production (Which helps build muscle and gives you energy), and helps you feel fuller, longer. In bodybuilding circles, it's recommended to eat about .5 a gram of fat per pound of body weight a day, 1.5 grams of protein per pound of lean body weight and fill the rest of your calories with Carbs or more protein and fat. Fats and protein are essential for life. Carbohydrates are not, but are good for energy.0 -
