Uncooked.

Your weight naturally fluctuates day to day, even hour to hour. I highly doubt you actually gained 4 lbs. Relax. Some people suggest you shouldn't weigh yourself daily, especially if you can't handle seeing the numbers fluctuate--because they will.

This is awesome. Congrats to you! I needed to see this.

BUMP for others. These lists are awesome. Thanks, guys!

Why even comment on this thread? The topic title is literally, "....Looking for SUPPORT and ACCOUNTABILITY." To the original poster, feel free to add me. I'm down 50 and have another 100 to go!

Thanks, guys! These lists and ideas are fantastic!

What brand of Greek yogurt? I tried Chobani and it was disgusting.

ANY type of pasta and pizza. Seriously, I'm convinced I was Italian in another life.

She said everything I was going to say. Great advice right here.

You look amazing!!!! Congrats!

Hershey's kisses. I can not eat just one.

Larry, you look amazing! Great advice, too.

We're in the same boat as far as goals go. I agree with Kahyee--you have to make weekly/monthly goals. It's much easier to tackle hills than mountains. The biggest thing I've learned is that all of the weight won't come off in a month, or two, or three, or even four. We didn't get this heavy in a short amount of time, and…

You should also consider taking photos of yourself. You never notice how much you've lost or toned until you see old photos.

I'm no expert by any means, but I do know that the heavier you are, the faster you tend to lose weight (or the more pounds you drop in a given time frame). You aren't THAT overweight right now, so you shouldn't expect to lose a ton of weight super quickly. Also, you say you've been at it for about 2 and 1/2 months or 10…

Great! I'll add you!

Maybe every other day.

This is true! Weight started falling off me the past month and a half when I increased my water intake.

Once a week, but I will take an occasional "peek" in between. I only record once a week and always on the same day and at the same time (first thing in the morning after using the bathroom.)

Any type of pasta!

I've so been there. Just keep this in mind: The weight didn't come on overnight (or a few days, weeks or months), so it won't come off in that short amount of time. Stay positive! Stick with what you're doing and don't allow yourself to become discouraged. Please don't weigh yourself every day if you become discouraged…

I highly doubt you gained 4 pounds in ONE weekend. Your body naturally fluctuates from day to day. You may be weighing yourself too often. I fell into this trap in the beginning of my journey. If you're going to weigh yourself more than once a week--which some people do--just know that you can't always take the number at…

I went through this in mid-January and stalled at 20 pounds. Change your exercise routine. Either up the intensity or just do a completely different exercise. Also, weight loss isn't linear. You're going to have some periods of plateaus. Everyone does!

Any type of pasta.

Are you using the website or the cell phone app? Everything is pretty self explanatory. When you want to log food you've eaten, simply select "food" then type in what you ate. For instance, if you had Cheerios for breakfast, you'd select "food", type in the word Cheerios, then select the Cheerios option that matches what…

Thanks everybody!

I figured as much. Thank you!

I hit a plateau in January. I literally didn't lose a single ounce (or gain) for the entire month. I started working out twice a day, drinking more water and increased the incline on my treadmill. After doing all of that, I dropped about 7 pounds in February. I've read that you should switch up your routine about every 2…

Depending on your height, you aren't *that* overweight to begin with. The heavier a person is, the faster they tend to drop weight up until a certain point. I'm thinking because you aren't 250-300+ pounds, you're just going to lose more slowly (if that makes sense). I'm not an expert, but this is just my guess.

Also check out this site. It'll help you more accurately calculate your TDEE. It allows you to input the amount of daily time you allot to different activities, not just working out. Hope this helps! I'm not an expert by any means, but this site helped. http://www.iifym.com/tdee-calculator
