Thanks for the suggestions on other ways and other places. We do go on family walks, usually 5 out 7 nights a week. As I said, this thought wasn't about weightloss, more about accountability. Having access to the MFP database and being able to scan barcodes on her own phone would be helpful. As one of the moderators…

As long as you are in a calorie deficit, carbs are not a problem.

I log my breakfast and lunch in the morning when I make them. Any extra snacks or dinner I log as I put them in my mouth.
-
I generally just sit on them at that point. It proves that they were correct.

My biggest secret... There is no good/bad/evil/happy food. They are all just sources of energy. Think of food that way and it makes CI<CO much, much easier. Oh, and that I can keep on drinking all the Coke Zero I want and it won't change a thing.
-
You could blow up! Haven't you ever seen the Hindenberg? :open_mouth:
-
Awesome work!

Coke Zero above all.

I'll agree to this. I had to train myself not to think of food as "good" or "bad" and just as sources of energy. Once I did that, I have not restricted a thing. If I want something, I just make sure I can fit it in my daily allowance, or plan to fit it in on the next day. KInda nice beaing able to still eat my Rice Krispy…

Drink it as Coke Zero

I average 4.5 - 5 hours a night and I have dropped 32 pounds since the beginning of the year. Doesn't seem to affect me at all.

So you are saying you don't really have a source to make those claims, you just want everyone to think you do?
-
Source?

The diet change a little bit of a red flag. Only cause he is having you cut out things that you arent allergic to, unless you didn't mention it. The detox? Definetly a red flag. No doctor should be tellign you to detox unless you have severe liver problems.

I'm not really into the macros and micros. For me it's about the CICO. If I have the calories for it and want to eat it, than I do. The main thing though is it forces me to budget my calories, so I know if I blow a ton of calories on something, I will end up eating less of something else later on. Like if I eat a 250…

I'll be honest. I hated myself 30 pounds ago. Not for the number on the scale, but for what I had let myself do to my own body, to my own health. I still have 80 pounds to go to where I want to be, but the changes in my body and my health make me feel better than the numbers on the scale.

That's awesome, congrats!

I got to a weight and size where if I tried to bend down to tie my shoes, my gut would cut off my diagphram and I would quit breathing. So everyday I would try and tie my shoes while holding my breath as quickly as I could. I realized how absolutely absurd that was and tld myself something had to change.

That drug... ugh. It's evil I say.

I was also on it only briefly for this very same reason  I then switched to Abilify and was on that for a year and gained 35 pounds. I had exactly what the OP is reporting on it. No matter what I did, i couldn't willpower past the non-stop ravenous feeling. That and never ever feeling full.

Thanks everyone. That is how I have been doing it, just wanted to make sure. 27.5 lost since Jan 1st aint too bad so far

Whatever calories you burn excercising, eat them back. Since you have 1385 a day you eat those everyday. Now say you go running and burn an additional 200 calories. Eat those calories as well.

I've quit many different times, but always come back to it. I realized, I love the taste and the bubbles. More than any other drink, I truly love the tatse of Coke Zero. I drink water when I am working out, hiking, or riding. Other than that I drink coke zero. I probably average around 60 ounces a day. I've still lost…

25 pounds down, and I can finally hug my wife while wrapping my arms fully around her again. Such a great feeling.

At ~ 300, I am buring 844 in 45 minutes according to the app.

Awesome, that worked. Thanks!

Learning that makes me seriously happy.
