Thanks ladies. I'm actually due for my annual next month so I'll talk to him about it then. After first I was concerned about very early premenopause (cuz I hit puberty at 10) but I haven't had any other symptoms of it.

I'm definitely not concerned about pregnancy, lol. I'm asexual and my husband and I are celibate due to his medical issues.

To the posters who gave me alternate core exercises, I will use those at home. However, sit ups are part of physical training at the academy. To the poster who asked if it will affect my ability to do my job as a deputy- it will not. It only causes me pain when sitting, laying on my back, etc. I will be starting off in the…

I actually did follow your advice. I started Scooby's women's beginner dumbbell workout this morning. Thanks!

Lol, yea I knew those weights wouldn't amount to much but I figured it was better than nothing. I plan to get different ones before my workout on Wednesday. Thanks. :-) To everyone else- THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You have all given me great advice! And chocolate milk??? Definitely gonna give that a try next time. Iulia_maddie-…

Thanks for the replies everyone. I am able to go sometimes but not nearly enough. My follow up with the surgeon is on Friday so I will definitely ask her. In the meantime I think I'll try the miralax. I actually stopped soda 5 days ago and now only drink water.

Great suggestions! How many grams of carbs should I eat daily? I'm not doing low Carb or anything special. When I changed my goals to where I wanted my protein and fat it automatically set my carbs at 225g. That seems like a lot.

I'm 5'1 and my goal is 130. I haven't been that small since I was a preteen so I'll be happy. My point: do what makes you happy and don't worry about what other people look like. If you are happy with how you look at 130,, great. If not, do what you need to do so that you are happy. Don't don't base yourself off of any…

Everyone that I spoke with said that although you can have PCOS without polycystic ovaries, you cannot have polycystic ovaries without PCOS.

When my husband and I got together 6 years ago I weighed 180. When we got married in 2011, a year after our son was born, I was 240. He has never once told me that I am ugly or fat, instead always telling me how beautiful and sexy I am. I'm 213 now and he tells anyone who will listen that I'm losing weight for me and he…

I didn't think about a lunch box. What other sort of things should I put in it that won't require a microwave?

Just diagnosed 2 weeks ago. Still have 80-90lbs to lose! Add me!

I thought that meant Shaking/Shake My Head...

Sounds really good! How long does it keep in the fridge?

Recovering from surgery, still no fun time for me... That would have been my plan otherwise. Lol

I have 15 so far. I'll probably at least one more before this but the next big one I want will be a reward for maintaining my goal weight. I am going to get a rib piece of a dream catcher with the phrase "My dream was caught (beginning date of lifestyle change). I released it (date I reach goal weight)."

He never said that I had PCOS, just polycystic ovaries. He put me on the BC to regulate my hormones to stop more from forming and see if they go away. He said we would discuss other things when I come back in 2 months. Eta: I just had labs done at my PCP 2 weeks ago so I know my insulin levels and all that is completely…

Great advice so far! Anyone else want to share their story?

I started this yesterday and so far so good... My sleep schedule is a little different than most so I eat from 4pm-12am and fast the rest of the time.
-
Where's the 'like' button when you need one?
-
I will be getting a dreamcatcher with the phrase " My dream was caught (begin date), I released it (date I reach goal)" on my ribcage. Still have 90bs to go but I'll get there.

I'd be interested. I'm 5'1 224lb looking to get to 135lb.

I was going to get this surgery over the past summer. I went through the whole process, was approved by my insurance, got a surgery date, etc. Then my surgeon found out I was bipolar and not on medication. He told me he wouldn't do the surgery because of it. I was super depressed and angry and said *kitten* it, I'll just…
