I don't mind them and yes they do wonders under slacks and dresses. But honestly, I prefer spanx tights. They have lots of colors that are not available in pantyhose. And two that are reversible shades.

My suggestion would be to eat at the TDEE - 20% and like others say have this be your weekly average. I would not give up the cheat days or spread out the extra calories across the week. I would ask what you ate in the days before yesterday. If today is only the second day you could not have eaten enough yesterday to gain 3 pounds. I think that would be 10,500 calories OVER your daily needs. And quitting on day 2 doesn't sound like you were very committed in the first place

What I like about following the TDEE -20% 'method' is that I do not worry about eating my exercise calories back. Jilian has a beginners dvd that has two workouts - one for front of the body muscles and one for the back and each has 6 circuits. There are about 3 moves per circuit done three times. One is cardio and the other two are done with weights or bands. I got mine in BJs for about $8.
