Hey, I started MFP after my first pregnancy in august 2012 at about 191lbs, i had only gained 10lbs. I was already overweight at a little over 180lbs for a 5'5" body frame. I used MFP and started to run, i was at my lowest around 165lbs and would go up to 170, that until about april 2014, then I couldn't control my weight…

Wow you look amazing. What's your workout regimen?

Even if I say it the nicest way with flowers "Your face looks chubbier" is your face looks chubbier. Nobody wants to hear that from other people even if they say it about themselves. Weight is a sensitive subject.

Same here, Popcorn (air popped on stove), almost every night.
-
OMG I was gonna write popcorn also.. Just finish a bowl right now...but like you, compared to spinning.... So I'm addicted to running. Actually not running but the feeling I get after running.
-
Yeah this exactly. Your body is more capable than what your brain tells it. At week 4 i never tought i could do more. I never stopped and after each run i was like "Wow, i can do this". I did my first 5k non stop 8 weeks after starting C25K. I think you should just do it and get out of your confort zone. You can do it!…

Good job. Don't feel selfconscious. They're only thinking about finishing the race and it's often a boost to run with people. Makes you get out of that confort zone. You can do it!!!!!

Wow 10min in a month. Good job.
-
Thanks great motivation!

I feel you. It was hard getting out of bed this morning knowing that it was rainy and cold outside.
-
So first official 5K race in exactly 37:00 and first time doing 5K non-stop. It's rainy today in Montreal. I loved the experience. I had ton of energy when I finished so maybe I'm not pushing enough.

Natural beauty. No foss!

I'm at the end of C25K and tracking my calories. I'm at 1200 calories. I'm 5'6'' and started at 191 (post pregnancy, but I probably only gained 10 lbs during pregnancy). I'm doing my first 5k this coming Sunday. The program is amazing. I can now run 5k at 10:1 intervals. I think I could do it non stop also. I lost about…
-
Don't worry, you will. It's an amazing program. I started 2 months ago 3-4 times a week and I'm running my first 5k next sunday.
-

I personnally go with your mom's way of thinking. I think it's easier that way, in the long run, to not fall off the wagon. On that "Break day" I still try to follow the rules but I'm not as strict. I might eat lower calorie food for breakfast and lunch and keep them for a bigger dinner. Some weeks I don't even have "break…

Ah ah It's a joke Angie. I consider myself a runner.

Almost a month ago I posted that topic and to anyone starting C25K, you will be able to do it. I NEVER repeated a week, I missed one day while on vacation in Mexico. I'm at week6 day2, i'm now running 4.4K and could finish the 5K with no problem but I'm following the program. Just stick to it, try not to repeat weeks if…

So along with everybody, PROCESSED food, but also I would avoid that popcorn seasonning. It's like putting salt on already salted popcorn.

Great gettaway with my girlfriends. Sippin on a cocktail in Miami beach.
-
Simple, just grill them on the bbq with zucchinis and green pepers with a drizzle of olive oil and pinches of herbs. Great dish to eat with bbq grilled fish or chicken breasts.
-
1. drink 8 glasses of water a day 2. finish C25K

I actually had Quinoa for the first time this week end. My friend did it in the rice cooker (1 portion Quinoa with 2 portion water). She sautéed mushroom and brocoli (i would add onions and green onion or any other type of veggie you like) then she stir the cooked Quinoa with the sautéed veggies. I personally would add…
