  • I'm in the same boat. I was at 145lbs back in September.. Now I'm at about 160lbs on a bad water weight day. :( I've been trying to get down to 125lbs and wound up going backwards. I already know where I went wrong, its just trying to correct it. Good luck on your journey!
  • My bf and I recently chose a vegetarian lifestyle. We compared our grocery bills before and after. The cost didn't change much but we filled our cart with healthy foods while our unhealthy choices would offer up a half cart. Both fed us for a week, however we physically feel much better over all. More energy. In 5 weeks he…
  • Jillian Michaels no more trouble zones. I love this video. She hits the trouble spots especially triceps, glutes, and love handles. I just started this back up after a year off and she kicks my butt.
  • I just went through something similar. I fell down half a flight of stairs and the bottom stair cracked a rib and dislocated cartilage. It took me two weeks to be able to move around without cringing in pain. Its been 6 weeks now and Im pretty much pain free. Mine must not be as serious as yours is. Take it easy and youll…

  • The first time I lost weight what motivated me was that I was invited to a trip to a waterpark hotel with some friends of mine. I had lots of fun until I saw the pictures later and realized I was not the 125lb self I used to be... I was the 170lb friend surrounded by 3 120lb ladies. Now thankfully I didnt let my weight…
  • Ive got 3 kids, 12yr old and 2yr old that are mine and a 10yr old that I help raise thats my bfs. I work fulltime 3rd shift as a saddle stitch operator. 3rd shift is a rough one trying to add in raising children and taking care of yourself. There are days (infact this week has been one of them) where I just cant get myself…
  • Ive lost over 50lbs on the depo shot and Ive been on it about 2yrs too. The shot doesnt cause weight gain, overeating does. The depo shot has increased my hunger and cravings you just need to try and control it and watch what you eat. With Halloween coming up I was naughty the last couple weeks and bought a few bags of…
  • Epsom salt baths have helped me. Not expensive either.
  • Ive been eyeballing craigslist for a few weeks now. Nothing what Im looking for or out of my current price range. Thx for the suggestion.
  • I work 3rd shift. I get a break every 2hrs so my 1st break I eat a light snack, 2nd break I eat a small meal, and 3rd is either nothing or another small snack depending how I feel. My light snacks are usually veggies w/ a little dip, small amt. of dried fruit, or a cranberry nut bar. At home I usually eat "breakfast" which…
  • Ive been on my last 10 lbs since around March. My weight loss has come to a halt. I basically toggle between the same 3lbs weekly but Im ok with that. I just recently quit Jillians no more trouble zones and switched to weight lifting 3x a week in hopes of better results. ;)
  • Id also Iike to add I did 30 day shred the full 6 weeks but I hated level 3 because of all the planking it was really hard on my wrists so I stuck with level 2. I lost about 6lbs and if I remember correctly 1 1/2 inches in the waist. I discovered her No More Trouble Zones after that and did that 3-4 days a week the past…
  • Jillian herself labels it as circuit training but be careful. Mfp overestimates the calorie burn for it.
  • Ive been doing her No More Trouble Zones since February. Love her vids they kick my *kitten*. Havent tried body shred yet though.
  • Ive been on the shot for a few years now but even with it I know its around that TOM because I suddenly gain 5-6lbs over night and hate everybody. Lol

  • Im set to sedentary for this reason. I probably eat about 50-75% of my calories between whats earned from a workout or through steps Ive taken. Fitbit step tracker (no matter the extent of adjusting the settings) isnt 100% accurate so I never eat it all back.
  • I quit worrying about my last 10lbs and concentrated on body composition. If Im not losing weight but Im seeing NSV's, then those are wins.
  • Im the exact way. I only log calorie drinks. The only time I start tracking water is when Im feeling dehydrated or sick.
  • I eat anywhere from 1600-2300cal a day depending on how much I burn with walking or workouts. I get about 20-25k steps a day and mfp I have myself set as sedentary so I eat about 75% of my calories back. Im not necessarily losing weight. I havent in a couple months but Im not gaining either. I toggle between the same 2lbs…

  • I have the fitbit hr charge. I had to alter stride length and set to dominant hand and adjust again and again until I got it the closest to being accurate. I use the HR to track my circuit training once to check the calorie burn compared to mfp estimate and it was 100 cal less than mfp so I log it that way now. The sleep…
  • For weight, I have 11-13lbs to go, however Im continuously working on strength and body composition.
  • I just bought a fitbit hr charge after weighing the pros, cons, reading reviews.. I love it. Its a lot of fun and its gotten me moving more. I had to really mess with the settings to get it as accurate as I can. I also do what fitbit says not to do and that is I wear it around my ankle. I cant stand things on my wrist and…
  • Do you have your wifi on while trying to sync? I had the same issue but once I turned my phones wifi off it syncs just fine.
  • I have a 12yr old and 2yr old. Feel free to add me ;)
  • I drink yerba mate (tea) with a packet of stevia per 12oz. Its pretty good and keeps me awake and alert w/o jitters.
  • Moderation. Fit it into your daily calories that week or few days. My downfall is ice cream, though. Im terrible at not overindulging.
  • I completed 30DS a couple years ago. It was fun but after my daughter was born I tried her No More Trouble Zones dvd and fell in love with that one. Its about twice as long but it really works your arms and glutes. Good luck and keep at it!!

  • I went 8 weeks maybe a little longer with no weight loss following a 1lb loss per wk goal. I kept at my calories mfp set and did my work out 4-5 times a week and eventually the weight started melting off. I participated in my works health assessment and weighed in at 142lbs back in mid April. Im down to toggling between…
