Hi All! I'm a return MFPer who lost 86 pounds in 2 years by strictly following the plan. I was maintaining for another year. Starting six months ago, a series of setbacks left me without any motivation: --My brother and sister-in law suddenly passed away. They were in their early 60s. --We moved to New Mexico and ate out a…

Hi--I'm 265 to 178 and my goal is also 155. Thanks so much for the inspiration cause the last 23 lbs have been very difficult--been stuck for several months. Great job for reaching your goal weight!

My Fitness Pal really works--believe in it, weigh your food Follow the plan CI<CO Set a reasonable weekly weight loss (I finally settled on 1 lb per week) Keep within the macros If you fail on one day or one week or a month, don't beat yourself up--pick yourself up and GET right back on the plan Whatever your situation,…

You look terrific!!! How tall are you? I'm trying to determine my ultimate goal weight.

Congratulations!!! Thank you for the inspiration today. I have lost 86 pounds but still have another 23 to go to hit goal. I have just barely been maintaining for several months (actually losing and gaining the same two or three pounds, yuck). I used to hate flying due to shame about my weight. I noticed on my last trip,…

The doctor said my titanium rod broke because although my femur looked healed from the xrays it was still broken inside. Thus he said the rod was bending (kinda like a metal clothes hanger when you keep bending it in the same place and it finally snaps). His advice was to see if the femur break would heal on its own…

I'm 66 and lost 86 pounds over two years time. I still have another 15-20 to go. I wish I could say that I have no loose skin but I do. It's mostly in the tummy area, upper arms and thighs. BUT I look 100% better in clothes with the weight loss and lost two double chins! I will gladly put up with the loose skin in exchange…

I'm nearing the end of my long journey (one size down to go) so if I see something I like one size smaller I buy it. The confidence to reach my goal is very high! When starting MFP, I already had clothes that were several sizes too small so I picked a shirt out a size smaller and hung it in a prominent place in my closet.…

Yes! Success after two surgeries for a broken leg. It's taken over two years but I've lost 86 lbs, most of the time in a wheelchair, on a walker or with a cane. No big secret here. I followed the MFP plan set out for me and adjusted calories down for days of little or no exercise. I used the guided program to set goals and…

I'm a 66 year old female and probably one of the saddest cases to begin a weightloss journey! I have Lupus and have taken prednisone for 25 years. The weigtht just kept creeping on and my doctors were discouraging about my ever losing it! Two years ago, I broke my femur (thigh bone) and had emergency surgery. I weighed 264…

Most annoying to me are the vegetable cooking oil sprays. I have one (large Kirkland canola from Costco) where a serving is 1/4 second spray. Can someone explain if this is even possible? How do you time it? It's kinda ridiculous.

truly an inspiration!

My highest weight was 264. I started MFP at 260. Current weight is 179 (down 81 lbs!!!!). My goal weight is 155. I'm 5'8" and 66 years old. It's never too late to get healthy and happy. MFP works.

Way to go. I've only lost a little more than half of your amazing total (81lbs, 19 to go). I'm 66 and I, too, love to see mature ladies success stories! You inspire.
