I am very interested in what others have to say. I can't seem to keep my gallbladder happy either! I try to stay low fat as a general rule but I still get attacks and they are killer!

I don't have full on cheat days, but I might have a cheat meal or two every so often. I really found that back when I was strictly following a diet from a nutritionist, the weeks that I splurged once on say Chipotle or a burger I actually lost more weight than the weeks I didn't. It's good to toss your body a curve ball…

Cheese is still good for you, just in moderation and use the low fat variety. A cheese stick and a hand full of nuts is a great snack. Pair proteins (nuts, cheese, yogurt, meats, hummus, etc) with a complex carb (whole grain crackers, fruit, veggies, etc) for the best results. You will feel fuller longer thanks to fiber…

I get it, ugh it is so embarrassing. Especially when I wear out the inner thighs on my jeans. So sad. I have finally just started to notice that I can stand with my legs about shoulder width apart and see daylight between them! YAHOO! Lots of leg work for me, balance, squats, running, etc, is finally starting to pay off. I…

If I were closer to Boulder I totally would! Is Fitness for Living in Boulder, or outside of it?

I got them so bad I had to quit in day 3. I could not walk, no matter how much stretching I did I couldn't get rid of them. I had to take almost a full week off working out!

One of my goals is to shop at Victoria's Secret again. It's a HUGE motivator! Who doesn't want to look good in lace and satin?!

I learn something new every day. I always thought it would hurt your kidneys eventually, I'm glad to hear I'm wrong. Especially since I eat a LOT of protein daily.

When I got pregnant with my second, it was a total surprise. We were trying NOT to get pregnant, actually, and well sometimes you can't plan for everything. I had just gotten back into an exercise routine. My oldest was about 9 months old, I had 12 lbs to lose to be back to pre-pregnancy weight. I lost it all in about 3…

I think fiber is fantastic and as far as I am concerned you can't get enough of it. Protein is another story. You don't want to OD on it because too much is bad for your kidneys, but for most people the MFP protein allowance is low. You find how much you need with an easy equation: your weight divided by 2.2 Then you…

If I go, it's a special indulgence. I have almost always (even before my lifestyle changes) just ordered a happy meal with a cheeseburger, apples, and chocolate milk. It's not healthy by any means, the burgers are seriously greasy, but like I said it's a treat once in a blue moon.

Depends on your history. My body wasn't telling me to eat because I had been in a starve and binge cycle for a long time before starting MFP. I found that working out and eating regularly gave me my appetite back. Try for small, frequent meals, every 3 hours or so to keep your blood sugars level and keep your metabolism…

Fat free cool whip is my favorite. Greek yogurt with honey or chocolate protein powder. Nonfat pudding. Dark chocolate (antioxidants!)

I do try to plan my days, but I also try to have my biggest meal at breakfast, smaller one at lunch, and smallest for dinner. This doesn't always work out, of course, but I aim for it. I am a big snacker, so I eat frequently and I try to stay steady all day.

April - Thanks as always for doing this for us. You are an amazing gal! I love the picture too, it looks like something out of an ad! Challenge 1 - Week 8 (04/03) - Walk, Jog, Run, Ride, ect 7 miles this week. We are coming up towards the end of our walking challenge. Maybe this will help push some of us that are…

Put the whole thing in the recipe tab, make 1 shell a serving, and add that to your diary. Easiest way to do it.

I prefer the elliptical because it's better on my knees and I feel like I can go forever, where on the treadmil I tend to give up. My toes do go numb, but like another poster said I try to mimic the toe-heel motion for a bit and they get better. I ADORE rowing machines, and I am bummed that my current gym doesn't have one.…

Yep. At least, they do around here. They are in the same aisle as soda. They are more expensive, of course, but when they are on sale you can get a 4 pack of 16oz bottles for like $3, or at Kroger they go on sale 10 for $10 (in the small cans). Edited to add: I forgot! I also found them at Sams and they were a great deal…

If you are going to have one, have a regular soda. Even better, find the kind made with real sugar instead of HFCS. If you need a replacement that is natural, I love Izze. It's fruit juice mixed with sparkling water. Amazing, no added sweeteners, the only down side is that there isn't any caffeine. But they are fizzy and…

I throw beans into everything. Breakfast burritos with black beans, pasta with kidney beans, bean salad, I throw them into salads, I puree them and add them to soups and casseroles, etc. The possibilities are nearly endless. Try other types too, like navy beans and cannellini beans for a different taste and texture. One of…
