I am not an expert on running, but from personal experience and from what I've read, it is really not good for you to run everyday. Running is really hard on your joints, and that day of rest is really important.

The problem is that all the charities for amputees insist that the shoes are new. Mine are not brand new but there are just fine shoes :/

It's important to switch up the cardio and keep your body guessing. If a treadmill is the only cardio equipment you have access to, try intervals to keep it different. good luck!

Yogi Bedtime Tea is AMAZINGGGGG. One tea bag lasts a long time too so you can keep filling with water. It's so delicious- I probably drink 10-12 cups a day (with on bag).

they are superrrr yummy! definitely wash them thoroughly, but they taste normal and a great low cal substitute (only 20 calories per serving!!)

totally understand your frustration! there are still upper body workouts you can do (seated weights, cardio punches, etc.) Also try swimming with a pull bouy between your legs. Non impact, non stress workout. Use this as an opportunity to get your upper body in amazing shape! you can do it :D

I really suggest using one with a strap. My first one was strapless, and it was SO inaccurate. It was a joke. I returned it ASAP and got the Poalr Ft7 and LOVE it. It's around $100 retail, but you can find it on discount sites of eBay for less. Totally recommend it!

I had a wrist HRM but I changed to using a chest strap. I HIGHLY suggest going for one with a chest strap. They are much more accurate. If you are concerned about the strap being uncomfortable, dismiss that- you honestly don't feel it at all. I have the Polar ft7 and LOVE it. You can find it any where from $80-110.

I have the Polar FT7 and I burn about 300 calories too. When I first saw that number after using my HRM for the first time I was sooo discouraged! I felt the same way like "I just worked my a** off and that's all I get??!" But remember Insanity is cardio AND strength so it might not be super high (you get less cal burn for…
