You can take your ordinary vodka, (95 calories per oz?) or rum, (65 calories per oz?) or coffee,(5 calories per cup?) and into each shot you useadd in dash of this:

THIS COCKTAIL will also go nicely with your desert there: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/769105-great-cocktail-for-fall-a-drink-for-the-fireside

TO THE OPmy guess is, others ARE notcing it, but don't know what to say, or, are unsure if you'd appreciate such a personal comment. Just jumping in, haven't read all 6 pages of replies, but, there have been similar threads, on this topic, of "no one noticing or commenting on a person's weight loss," and apparently, there…

I don't know, but i doubt it. Even ppl with known, proven metabolic disorders can lose weight, if they eat less calories per day than they are burning. GOOD LUCK!!:flowerforyou:
-
i myself don't think it's the "fat" in a food, it's the calorie total. If you are allowed to eat 1500 calories per day, but only ate 1400 calories per day, you'd lose weight, even there were lots of fat grams in your calories. they are your calories. you can spend them any way you choose to. Of course, for overall health,…

<slowly raises hand. I once heard someone say, (maybe it was Oprah, not sure) that said /"BEHIND EVERY PERSON TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT, IS SOMEONE SABOTAGING THEIR EFFORTS."// She went on to say, often the person means well, like the pal who says, "Oh come on, one lil piece of pie won't hurt you." to those who actually do…

oh, i dunno, sometimes, it's fun to be validated by another person for some ppl. I don't see where one member would get to tell another member how many replies is too many. And, of course you don't agree with the notion one person could indeed be, naturally slim for decades and decades and decades, without even caring what…

i probably shouldn't say this, as i am posting on the polemic world of MFP forums (shiver!) but, so far as the mantra "you are not different" i do disagree somewhat. Which always always causes an entire hailstorm of outrage if someone doesn't buy that idea 100%. When i was younger, for decades and decades, if i wanted to,…

ah, to me, using the word "duh" IS a form of mocking someone else's remark, and has a slightly mean tone to that reply, IMO. But perhaps for you, saying 'duh' has some other meaning to you. I feel free to reply to any post i wish, whether it pleases you or not. Didn't realize MFP had a thread length limit.
-
i hear you, but, MFP is full of ppl who enjoy polemics, even if someone says common sense ideas, given in the spirit of being helpful, somebody will feel a need to disagree. rofl!
-
who is mad? where is a healthy idea i've rejected considering?
-
this.
-
this.
-
seemed sensible to ME too...
-
this is good to know, that these ideas can help a person.
-
yeah, some of these i have heard before, but have never tried them yet. I am willing to consider all healthy ideas to keep me on track!!
-
struck me as pretty sensible stuff, too!
-
yeah, lots of healthy ideas that might inspire someone. One good healthy move, can lead to yet another...and another........one step at a time, back to health.
-
yeah, me too, some new ones for me to consider, as i struggle to return to a healthier lifestyle.
-
yeah, it IS all nonharmful, healthy tips to consider.
-
yeah, i so agree:drinker: :drinker:

Hmmm, i don't see the need to criticize the OP's info, at all. A lot of the things you reply "duh" to, are NOT BEING DONE by some ppl, and this advice can help inspire them. You seem to feel as if self-control is just a given, no inspiration needed. This doesn't seem to be true for everyone on MFP, Peuglow. See, there are…

the trouble gripping items might be related to your carpel tunnel, which is common cond'n in today's keyboard world. There is a small rubberband-ish cord in your wrist, which surrounds some nerve which supplies your hand. When the band is too stressed/swells up from repetitive movements, (like keyboards sometimes induce)…

for vegetarians, one could leave out the meat, the flavor is not from the ground WHITE MEAT TURKEY, nor are most of the proteins, irons, etc. THIS RECIPE WOULD BE FINE WITHOUT THE MEAT.

I'm not a lawyer, but lots of my best pals are, as well as having lived with lawyers. Law school seems to cause most everyone going through it to pretty much sacrifice anything else going on during those years. (social life, dating, etc). Not completely, but it gets severely trimmed down. This is true, however, of many…

 I love salmon, i could eat that every day if i had no concerns about how much mercury i can eat in one week. I've never used salmon for this recipe, http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/725848-cook-your-fish-outside-on-top-of-fruit-so-easy-delish but, i've used every other kind of fish. Grill fish on top…
