I quit 6 years ago after smoking heavy for 40 years. I found the support at quitnet.com to help a lot, it's rather like mfp. I tried patches, cold turkey, gum and prescriptions and none worked. I finally got the lozenges and they got me though the first couple of weeks. Good luck, life is so much better without the cigs.

I tried the cranberry and chicken yesterday and it was really good. I generally bring a salad for lunch at work and this seems to be perfect for days when I wake up late and don't have the time to fix a real salad. I will definitely buy more to keep around for those one time to many on the snooze button mornings.

I've lost 18 lbs in 2 months without entirely giving up any food groups. I do try to limit processed foods but I still have pretty much everything I've always eaten including candy and other sweets. I just find myself being more aware of how much I'm eating, measuring and weighing everything. Logging meals and exercise…

I was born in 52, gonna hit 60 next month. I quit smoking 5 1/2 years ago and eating took the place of cigs. I'm determined to get back down to a weight where I feel good. Joined a gym and trying to learn to eat to live instead of living to eat.
