  • Thanks for all the great tips mate! I don't rely too much on the scale, even though I do weigh myself.. I get my motivation to keep going from my tape measure!
  • I am also at the very beginning o fmy journey! Learning about food and exercise every day! So much information out there, it can be quiet overwhelming! I commend you for taking the step to reassess life and to fight to live a happy, healthy and long life. I wish you the very best on this journey.. it won't be easy but it…
  • Yeah, I am with you here! I don't feel thirsty (apart form when I exercise) - strange.. I know! I have a one litre bottle and drink one before lunch time, another before I go home from work and the last one before I go to bed. Always works and doesn't feel impossible or too much!
  • I would recommend that you get a new water bottle! One cup is nowhere near enough! Your body is totally dehydrated.
  • Hi Michelle! I am Dina, from Melbourne - Aus! Welcome to MFP! I am new to this as well and really loving all the support on here! Be proud of yourself for making such a huge step, to get away from all those "diets" and to commit to healthy living! Well done! Good luck with your journey! x
  • In terms of support, you couldn't have come to a better place! Your story resonates with me! I have said "I am on a diet" more times then I can count and like your husband, my boyfriend stopped hearing it. So this time when I started, I made subtle shifts and only announced that I was watching what I was eating when the…
  • I have this dillema at our office all the time! I generally cut a slice and share it with two of the other girls who are dieting as well! We get the taste, kill the craving @ 1/3 of the calories! ;-) You could also cut yourself a really thin slice if you haven't got a buddy to share it with! ;-)
  • Your week is totally going to be okay! You just need to stick with your normal diet and try to exercises as much as possible. Never let a bad day bring you down. We are only humans and we sometimes just need a break! Don't do any crazy calorie cutting throughout the week, just do your normal "thing". You totally got this!…
  • My gf and I had this very same discussion today as I have been exercising quiet heavily on the weekend [fun exercise - I burned quiet a lot and really dropped below my net calories].. and we came to pretty much the same conclusion! Eat more when you have had drastic exercise but otherwise you should be okay. ;X
  • This is not a very uncommon situation. I would suggest that you stick to your guns and do what is best for you. Try to cook some exciting but healthy meals and dont present them as "healthy" but as new to your family. Sometimes people just think that if something is healthy its tasteless were in fact its quiet the…
  • Thanks Ladies! Look forward to sharing posts with you! :-)
  • I love this idea! Totally in! I am a newbie to MFP - please feel free to add me as I need all the support that I can get! ;-)
  • I have a yoga mat that I work out on to save my carpet. I would recommend you get one, wear your trainers as that will give your joints support.. otherwise you are exposing them to injury. Happy shredding! :)
  • :)
  • I am on day 6 today and have had some major changes already! I eat 1200 calories a day, jog three times a week and do this dvd every night! I have lost cm around my arms, thighs and esp bust and waist in 6days, can't wait to see what the 30 days will do! I find it to be quiet tought but well worth it! Give it a crack and…
