When the iPhone version will be out, this will get CRAZY.

Stongjos : You need to download the app, then you'll have access to www.ingress.com/intel which is pretty much Google Maps adapted to ingress, and you can see all the portals. Send me a message stating where you live exactly I can look it up if you want.

nwg74: I heard those pounds are the hardest to lose, but good job! Keep it up!

Sedna_51 : glad I could help. I broke my plateau this morning I think! Never give up!

I'm following program for "weight loss". The quotes are because we don't have a weight loss goal. The ultimate goal is more like getting rid of visceral fat, and be in better shape. But everyone in the group has some goal that has nothing to do with numbers, weight or anything. Mine was to be able to jog, and to do some…

That is a VERY interesting idea!

Thanks everyone! Yes I do am proud, feels like awesome!

A nutritionist could probably help you, if you can afford it... My expertise pretty much ends there :\

How's your weight loss so far? What's the average a week? If you're at 1 or 2 pounds a week of loss, you shouldn't overanalyze all you're doing. It looks like you know what you're doing and being super strict on your habits and know every little number might not be that helpful. Take me for instance, I lost 57lbs since…

As for the BMR, you're probably right. I let my FT7 run while we're doing relaxation and stretching at the end of class and stuff. The idea is to know what I wouldn't have burnt if I didn't go to the workout. So I guess I need to remove 96 calories for the BMR. 719 calories in 60 minutes is still very good, but I don't…

Merci! Thanks everyone, i feel relieved. This toy wasn't free so I'm glad the numbers seem good :D

Just like my friend dotknott. Polar FT7 is a charm. FT7 gives you your burnt calories live, and if something breaks you don't have to replace the whole thing.
-
Will do :D

Person on the right : WHO ARE YOU, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH PERSON ON THE LEFT? :)

Major WOW for you! Good job!

Tinad, I like your ticker ;) nczuczu : Well I used to wear it 'cause it would fit. It was just OK back then.

Here's mine. I'll need to update this ;)

Here's my input. Last year at the same time I was probably around 345 lbs. I started to change my habits (food + workout) on July 1st.

On weekends, I always cook some recipe that would give enough food for lunches the next week. So every day, I fill half my plate with some salad, and the rest with what I cooked. I normally cook stuff like pasta with meat, rice and chicken, stuff like that. So in the end, my lunch plate is half veggies, quarter…

I have made a lot of progress since I started my weight loss this summer. My endurance is to the roof. At first I couldn't keep up on the spinning bike, now I can. I couldn't walk 1 hours without whining about back pain, now I can do hiking for 2 hours, with my niece in my arms from time to time. I feel the results. But I…

Yeah keep it up, it's no big deal. Sometimes I go out with friends and the calories intake is so horrible I don't even dare enter them in MFP. But I make sure I do one or two extra sport sessions to compensate. Would be boring to go out with friends without eating the same big *kitten* pizza than them :D

In 3 pounds, I'll be passing from Obesity Class 3 to Obesity Class 2, so I'll reward myself with this wonderful t-shirt. I'll take it 2XL so I'll have to work a little more to wear it! http://www.redbubble.com/people/helljester/works/9309369-slimer-thrashin-mad At 299 lbs, I'll reward myself with my first iPod ever... a…

You are an example for me! This is exactly where I want to be! Can you give me an idea of what you did to get there???
-
Indeed, you did a great job! Thanks for your input. I'll also check with the gym guys, they might have some advice. At 245 lbs, they might tell me to try regular boxing first eheh.

Yeah same for me, my lifestyle is changing, and I want to make it evolve and stay that way. First I need to loose the weight, then I want to maintain it by doing something a little more intense.
-
That is amazing! You're an inspiration, since I want to lose 100 pounds+ too!
