I would like to know the answer to this as well. I think I've seen somewhere a schedule for each day with the number of squats/rest days, but I didn't keep it and I wasn't sure it was the "right one" anyway.

My left foot develops a cramp under the arch often after exercising. Sometimes I notice it immediately, other times I don't notice it until the massage therapist finds that tender spot on the sole of my foot. I had a slipped disc in my hip over a year ago. I still get achey hips from it, and many related problems in my…

Check out http://zuzkalight.com/category/workout/ They are high intensity workouts (including squats and lunges that others have mentioned) that can easily be done in your living room with minimal to no equipment and completed between 15-30 minutes.. A new workout is posted each week, and usually they are time challenges…

When I log ZWOW's, I look at the list of exercises and pick out the ones that **really** had me huffing and puffing and wanting to cry, and often any cardio exercises (side skips, burpees, jump rope, etc). I count the number of those exercises and divide by the total number of exercises. Then I multiply that number by my…

Thank you very much for the advice. I took a short HiitLite workout and instead of timed intervals, I just did 10 reps of each exercise as you suggested. Had to do pushups on my knees for the sake of endurance and sticking to finish out the workout. I omitted the jumping exercises (usually the ones that make me…

How was your breathing during the actual exercise? I sometimes feel like I'm going to hyperventilate. As others said, it's probably just me being out of shape. I understand the point of HIIT is to go all out, but it might be best to tone it down a bit to a point where you feel safe.

I have been attempting them the past couple of days, and despite doing the HiitLite workouts, even, I find them really challenging and I can't even finish the full amount of rounds they ask you to do. I usually stop halfway through. I don't consider myself --that-- out of shape, but the fact that I can't do all of a…

I have recently (within the past few days) attempted workouts from www.dailyhiit.com . (Only watch if you can get past the skimpy clothing the girl wears...) I'll warn you though, if you're just starting out like I am, the workouts are **tough**. I'm 5'7 and 124 lb, and I've been doing cardio workouts regularly for the…

That's what I needed to know. Thanks!

I'm 5'7" and 124lb. (Body fat calculators online give me anywhere between 20-25% [although I feel pretty confident 25% is more accurate...]) I just used that TDEE calculator (but excluded actual workouts, just because I like logging those for motivation :) ) and it set my calories to 2179. This just seems so high to me! If…

FYI, I just did a quick search for groups and joined "Skinny Fat to Fit." It seems to have lots of activity and might be useful -- http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/2744-skinny-fat-to-fit So if anyone's interested, check out the group for recipes, ideas, even find your "skinny fat twin" and form a buddy system. Also,…

2.40 miles today with C25k. Been really busy with work and focusing more on strength exercises this past week. Plus we have snow again... Not sure if I'll make the goal anymore :\ I'll try.

I'm also in the same boat here. 5'7" and started out at 128-129. Mild "diet" for a few weeks with cardio and dropped to 124. Now I know I need to build muscle, but I don't know anything about how to do that. I have taken away the deficit for my daily calories so im eating back at a level to maintain, and I'm doing Wii fit…

So we should set weight goals in MFP to "maintain my current weight?" We should eat back exercise calories that come from cardio workouts? And for MFP activity level, we should still choose an accurate activity level that describes average activity levels excluding official exercise?

I am in a similar situation. I'm 5'7" and 124 lb. I would like to increase muscle, particularly in my abs since I obviously can't/shouldn't lose weight anymore, but I still feel like I have a "belly." And I suppose I'd like to firm my butt up as well. :) I have been eating really healthy for the past two months but I don't…

Did C25K outside today and walked an extra mile afterwards. Added 3.54 to my total for the month. This challenge is really great to keep me motivated and sticking with it :))

Just under 3 miles outside today. Weather was quite lovely. :)

A little over a mile yesterday and a mile today. Really enjoying the C25K with the Wii. Works up a decent sweat. I'm thinking of finishing the program once with the Wii, then starting again and upgrading to the great outdoors since the weather should be nicer by then. :)

Started the C25k program today while using Walk it Out (Wii) for something interesting. Worked up a sweat, yay! Once the weather clears up, I'll be able to resume running outside :) Added 1.08 miles for this morning.

Given that we are definitely still having winter here in Nebraska, I haven't been able to run or walk outside (surprise snow storm over the weekend leaving ice and snow everywhere). It's not enough to rely on exercising on the good days because there's usually one good day each week if we're lucky! I've been doing Walk it…

Getting a late start here. Hopefully I can still reach the goal!
