I am not following the meal plan. I tried the Shakeology and I thought it was nasty. I am just trying to stay within 1400 calories/day.

asics or brooks are great brands. They can be expensive, but they are well worth it. You might need to go somewhere and have your gait analyzed. We have a running/shoe store here that will watch you run and make shoe recommendations. Having the right shoe for your running style is really important.

I am also 5'3", weighed in yesterday at 138.8lbs. I was 118lbs at my skinniest. (Looked horrible) I am looking to get down to 125-130. I'm 27. I just sent you an invite. :)

I agree, I am by no means obese or overweight. I have a goal to lose maybe 10-15 lbs and running/cardio was not doing it for me. I work in an accounting office and just about every single one of us brings our lunch in. Even our CFO brings in his lunch, he is a huge health nut. Not only is bringing your lunch usually healthier, but more cost effective as well.
