I agree. I've found a few recipes lately since I've been looking for bone in I looked at mine tonight and they are really thin. So I think cooking time will need to be shortened. Should I use high or low heat?
-
Never mind lol I just saw high heat.
-
Sounds good. Did you do on low or high?
-
Well obviously I don't lol or I wouldn't be posting for help with ideas. I already have these and don't have a grill and really would like to use crock pot. I don't eat them a lot, last time I had pork chops was over 4 months ago. Anyway, I have been googling and will again later but was wondering if anyone here has…

www.fitbit.com/user/2S92Y8 add me on fitbit
-
Thank you for letting me know. I am pretty interested in fit bit but I just got I have to go see them in person I think but I think I might go with the one.
-
Yes we are allowed

The wristband flex does not count stairs and that's one of the reasons I'm debating because I use stairs everyday at work and at home. At home I'm in a two-story condo but my first floor is on the second floor so just to get into my house I have to climb up one flight of stairs then to go out to the bedroom is a second…

I'd love to hear what you decided to go with and why. :) I'm looking them up online to see the. I'll probably venture to the store to take a look.
-
Thank you! Great reviews.

I agree I want to accurate to a point because I do kind of want to see what I am burning and moving every day. But I am not expecting anything to be hundred percent accurate. I'm not a huge fitness guru or anything basically I'm looking for something to help me motivate myself to beat my steps every day and to basically…

Is there something you would recommend? Open to all suggestions
-
Well we have a gym at our complex so I'm going to see the treadmill to see if I can do what you suggested above.
-
Ok at work I wear scrubs so putting in pockets is out. And hooked to pants don't wear a belt :) so hooked to bra? It's the wrist thing hooking to bra right? I'm going to look these up today and see. The ONE that you clip to bra just trying to see if your not wearing one you just clip to pants right? Then at wrist for sleep?

Ok so Is stride figuring out how many steps it takes me to get to a mile?
-
What is a good way to measure stride? This post is a little above my head lol. I'm new to all this and don't understand it all. I'm looking for something to wear all the time to get an idea of what I'm burning so I can make sure I don't eat too much. I would like sleep included and stairs are part of my work day so id like…

I haven't looked at the UP24 yet by Jawbone. I do like them I have some jawbone items. How is it with hand movements and such compared to the flex? I'm kind of liking the fitbit one just by looking up online. Wondering though it says you wear between bra for ladies but what about like after work but before sleep when you…

Well I was looking and googling and found an article that a girl wore both of them (one and flex) from 7/13-8/5 last year and the flex had 47,000 steps more than the one. She said sea Italian and a hand talker and thinks that's why. The flex also said that one day she had xx minutes of intense while the one said only 3…

Thanks. Not too worried about how it looks as te majority of the time in at work (can wear it) or home or just out. Nothing fancy so that's good. I'm excited to start looking these up.
-
Thanks. I'll be looking up a few of these. I know I will see pictures when I looked them up but curious if anyone has pictures of them handy since I'm at work and won't be able to look them up until tonight or tomorrow?
-
Thanks. I do like to watch style. I move my arms a lot with work and walking but I think it may not be 100% accurate but probably still enough for what I need. Like one user just said- don't eat all the cals back which I don't want too anyway.
-
Thanks I'll read this today
-
Thanks. I think what I want is to see how many calories I'm burning. I track my food here so it doesn't have to do that although I wouldnt mind it. But I'm really wanting to see what I'm burning without workout. EDIT: And of course with workout.

Wouldn't have pockets at work with scrubs but maybe bra? Wonder if this is more accurate than flex?
-
True I was thinking that. I don't push a stroller but I do walk my dog but I can try to remember to use the other hand. I do a lot of data entry and xray at work so my hands are moving machines and typing. Wondering if that would mess it up? The moving the machines up and down and back and forth and taking cassettes in and…
-
Hmm maybe. It's been a while but it could be that.

Thanks I'll look Into the fitbit flex. The body media one doesn't sound like the one I have. I think I'd recognize the name but maybe not it's been a while. I have larger upper arms and the band really bothered me. I had to put it tight to stay up otherwise it would fall down and with my scrub too it kept peeking out and…

Never said I didn't want to be healthy. I won't quit. I will be upping my cal again this is not permanent. I'm not into starving myself (obviously. Lol) and it's not only to lose weight but as I said In prior posts I have a few things going on - medical issue- and I'm being monitored by dr and have had labs and am healthy…

I wasn't weighing the first month because I didn't have a scale so I did buy one a little over a month ago and yes I'm measuring. Yes I feel I probably am over eating sometimes but I notice those are days I have emotional eating and I need to control that. Several have mentioned quest protein bars so I'll look for those. I…

It's one of those tanita scales I think. It said basic metabolic rate. Isn't that BMR? and it said 1797. What I burn at rest. I think I understand it? Maybe not I don't know. But that wasn't calculated here on MFP. It was one of those u stand on with no socks and it calculates. I'm sure each scale is different so trying to…
