If you still have the receipt, I would give it a try. Walmart will take just about anything back. If not, they may be able to give you a store credit and you could snag some cheap workout clothes.

What's your budget? I have a basic polar ft4 with a chest strap and it was under $65 on amazon. Personally, I would return the cheap HRM and save up for a more reliable one. In the mean time, you can use an online activity estimator or only eat back 50%-75% of the exercise calories the MFP database gives you until you can…

It would be more accurate to weigh your foods

there are restaurants in "developing" countries as well. ETA: Oops. I guess others beat me to it! And I'm not really here for people who have so much to say about the conditions in "developing" countries but are mum on the role imperialism/colonialism plays.

I have one cat currently. BF is thinking of getting a cat as well. I just started volunteering at a local animal shelter and currently have my eye on this adorable staffy mix who would make the perfect running buddy. Not sure how my kitty would take it, though.

Are you weighing and measuring all of your foods and liquids?

Where's that damn orange?!

I've been having the same issue and it started around Easter as well. Number of factors contributed to my climb, but I'm making sure to be more diligent about weighing and tracking my foods and drinking more water. Patience is helping as well.

I thought it was ~1g per pound of lean body mass? But for protein, greek yogurt, cheese, edamame, lean meat, and protein powders usually get me to or close to my goal.

Because Mexican Americans do not exist...

you look great!

I'm waffling between 156-157, but I'm your height (and 5 years older) and eat around 1700-1800 a day. Did you set your goal to 2lbs/week? That might be your fist issue. Too aggressive of a goal for the amount of weight you are trying to lose. .5lbs/week would probably be better and more safe/sustainable. tl;dr: EAT MOAR!…

arm band thingy that I just carry/loop around my hand (makes it easier to pause run keeper, skip a song, etc) and a cheap little skinny fanny pack off amazon for my keys, lip balm and wireless hot spot (I have a crappy data plan for my phone :ohwell: )

either two chalupas or a chicken quesadilla. haven't been to Taco Bell in almost two years, though.
-
I hope I fixed it. IMG has to be lower case ETA: not sure what to do about sizing. Sorry :ohwell:
-
you could always take your measurements and compare them to the store/brand's size chart to see where you fall. If you're able to get to the store you could try on a couple of different sizes to see which looks best.

trail mix? I love the black & white mix from target.

BUMP! Now I have can use up the rest of my oatmeal!

In for the Geordi La Forge .gif (and hopefully more Star Trek related content) To OP: Never done it (no room in my tiny budget for dangerous fad diets), but I would recommend good old fashion calorie counting and exercise.

I've worked out through colds with no issues. Only things that have knocked me on my back have been stomach viruses and stress hives that are exacerbated by exercise. Everyone is different. It's best to listen to your body! Rest is always important.

I had a 3.5lb "weight" jump as well after Easter. It was shocking to see, but I've just let nature run it's course and I'm back down to were I was before the holiday. Make sure to drink more water and up your fiber intake a little bit. It's working for me so far!

I weigh my veggies
-
I drink around 64oz a day. I didn't drink as much as I usually do this past weekend and I definitely felt it.

When I first tried to do it at the end of 2012 I could barely get through the workouts WITHOUT weights. I got to level 2 and gave up because the soreness was unbearable and I was frustrated that I wasn't getting results (then again I was eating the same and more!). I tried again in November of 2013 and was able to go…
