YES! Get yourself a heart rate monitor. Set it to "percentage" of max HR. Your MAX HR is determined by 226- (your age). I'm 51 so my MAX HR is 175. If I was wearing my HR monitor and my heart beats were 175 bpm my monitor would say 100%. The best way I've learned to determine how hard you are working is by your HR monitor.…
