Hi All, I'm Heather, 37, mom to 1 energetic 3 year old. Over the last few years I've lost 70+ pounds with the help of MFP and different challenges/groups on here. I was within 4 pounds of my ultimate goal weight and BAM life got hard the last 6 months. It's not a good excuse, but it's life, I lost focus and gained 10…

I don't see my name. Please add. Thanks!

I'm in. Thanks!

I'm an apple an no you are not doomed but it will take some time and patience. I've lost 73 pounds and it's coming off my tummy last. I have learned I'll have to be a very low body fat percentage to have a flat tummy. It's a bummer but it can be done! Just trust the process and stay consistent!

Mine is March 1st. I'm doing a 58 story stair climb on Jan 31st too so I'm just hoping to stay injury free!

Yes! I don't feel like I've earned the title yet. Maybe after my half??

I eat plants and I'm active. I log daily and when I started I couldn't walk a block, now I run almost daily and I'm training for a half marathon. You got this! Start slow and work your way up to tougher stuff.

I think BMI works for some people. It's a really big range though. I'm right in the middle right now at 21.5 and I can tell you that is still too heavy for me. I have a small frame so for me, I need to be closer to the lower end of my weight range. I've used it to track progress but I care more about measurements and body…

I'm a newish runner too with just a few more pounds to lose. I started to help the weight loss and because it was something I was never able to do before (even as a kid). I love it now, it keeps me sane and I'm super grumpy if I miss a run. I'm training for my first half in March as well.

Hi there! I'd like to join the group! I've lost most of my weight already but I need to change up my workouts (and get the tummy fat off!) and it would be nice to be motivated by other mommies! I eat a whole food plant based diet and have for over a year. I've lost 70 pounds...because I track my calories. I feel great and I'm in the best shape of my life. It's a great way to eat if you like to cook, but all the plant-based books have it wrong when they tell you not to track calories. You CAN eat too much brown…

Common sense and good manners.

*Maintain the 70+ pound loss *Lower body fat% *Run my first half marathon 3/1 *Finally replace my wardrobe (and learn to dress my new fit body!)

I'm a SAHM, feel free to add. I've lost 69 pounds with MFP so far with 5-10 left to go.

Usually until lunch which is about 4 hours for me. Depends on my run though, if I run 30 minutes and lift 30 minutes I'm good until lunch. If I do a longer run I'm starving when I'm done. If I eat cereal I've found raisin bran sticks the longest.

I eat a PB&B sandwich almost daily for breakfast before I run. I've lost about 70 pounds, but I can tell you it has nothing to do with the sandwich and everything to do with sticking to my daily calorie goal. I eat them because I like them.

Lose the last 4 pounds this year so in 2015 I can... *Lower body fat % to about 18% *Wear a bikini by summer and rock it *Maintain it all!

I'm plant based 99.9% of the time. Occasionally I forget how bad dairy makes me feel and eat it, then suffer for days. Feel free to add!

Yes, and at Thanksgiving I think every family member had to give me their opinion on my weight and had to ask exactly how much I weigh now. I'm 5'4" and 130 pounds, exactly healthy for the first time in my life! My mom even had to say "she doesn't eat enough" to an aunt as I was sitting there stuffing my face with pumpkin…

I had a similar experience in September. I was sick for a week and couldn't work out and lost 5 pounds. I ate the same so I can't really tell you. That was the most I had ever lost in a week. I suspect it was water weight, but it stayed off so I'm not complaining!

Thanks for posting this OP! I've been getting this a lot lately since I've lost about 65 pounds over the last year. Some days I shrug it off and go on about my day. Some days, it really annoys me. People keep telling me I'm so "tiny" now, which is a stretch. I'm in my healthy range with just under 10 pounds to get to my…

My experience with treadmill running was awful, I tried for weeks and weeks and I couldn't do it. The first time I tried running outside, I ran just over 3 miles like I had been doing it forever. Could be all in my head, but I ditched the treadmill and run outside or on a track. I'll be running my first 10k on the first…

I'm 5'4" (almost) and 35 with a 2 year old. I started at 198, now at 136 with a goal of 125. I think 120 might be better since I have a small frame but I'll wait for 125 to see if I'm right. I eat about 1400 calories a day now but started out at a lot more. I run and do strength training. These last 11 pounds are coming…

I'm an apple. It takes time and patience. Here is before and now. I have 10 pounds to goal and all 10 pounds are on my tummy. I run, lift weights, and eat at a deficit.
