I can relate to this! I tend to preload my food intake into my diary so that I know what I'm eating for the day. If I have some wiggle room and I'm feeling hungry or craving something I'll allow it. I think knowing what to expect for the day helps a lot. Also I try to eat more protein and veggies so I am getting more for…

No problem, just making sure it wasn't me being confused!

I'm not seeing the 1280 day you are referring to. Monday was accurate at 1353 and today ended at 1539, also accurate.

1) No I was at a wedding that night and only logged what I ate during the day so I could determine what I had left for that night. 2) No, I spent the day with friends doing crafts and grazing the snacks we bought. There were various items I had samples of and couldn't track them. I allowed that to be a cheat day

I love salads too! My favs are taco salad make with (ground turkey, taco seasoning, peppers, onions, corn, shredded cheddar and salsa for dressing) and cobb...minus the blue cheese, I hate blue cheese! I'm making cobb for dinner actually :)

I'm in very much the same boat as you! Sending a friend request. I'm open to new friends for anyone that needs one!

I read it as well. It did have a lot of great information and information on lifting. I did the first phase and saw my strength improve greatly as well as inches lost and muscle definition. After phase one I started working out with a trainer so I never actually finished the program. As for venturing to "that area of the…

I asked for one for Christmas after doing a lot of research and then a nurse at my Dr's office had one on and I was asking her how she liked it. She said she loved that so that sealed the deal! Can't wait to get it!

I'm also aiming for 20% body fat...I've never been thin, but I have an athletic build and drs/trainers are usually shocked at my weight because I don't "look" my weight. I'd love to see 150 on the scale, but for me my body composition changes much faster than my scale moves!

When my husband was diagnosed with diabetes almost 3 years ago now, our life styles changed completely. We had already been hitting the gym consistently and trying to eat healthier, but we weren't weighing/measuring our food. After speaking with a nutritionist to determine the right diet for him I noticed the majority of…

just had the same experience this past weekend...i just got married in october and didn't have to size up on my dress and for her bridesmaid dress i had to go up 4 sizes and my measurements haven't changed since october. bridal sizes sure do run small!

If I remember right they were one of the Adrenaline models...I wear a 10 and they were fine when I was walking around, but as soon as I got into my run they were horrible and I was actually ending up with bruised toe nails cause I thought I just needed to break them in and was trying to run through it :(

Brooks were what I purchased and they didn't run big...

Def get fitted at a running store, however keep in mind you should buy 1/2 a size to a full size larger than your normal shoe size because your feet expand when you run, especially during longer distances. When I got fitted they failed to tell me that and my shoes were so uncomfortable when I ran. I currently have the…

deninevi - no he didn't get into the need for a spotter, he just mentioned it when he was introducing me to the trap bar. you are right though, i guess you could always just drop the bar.

i met with a trainer last week to check my form on a few of the excercises, deadlifts being one of them. what he suggested was using a trap bar instead of the olympic bar. it doesn't take away from the exercise, but it's better if you have no spotter and allows for better form as well.

i decided to meet with a trainer this week to go over my form on squats, deadlifts, lunges, seated row (cause i don't feel anything except in my biceps) and lat pull downs. the owner of the gym felt weird setting me up with a session that i'm going to basically be controlling, but it's not like i'm not paying for it! i…
