  • I'm not sure how I'd look in it, but I'm willing to try anything once....
  • Someone who would've gotten their *kitten* beat by me if I had heard it. Some people are just small and miserable inside and they have to put others down to make themselves feel better. They're usually the people you'd never want to associate with anyways. I know it sucks, but try not to let it get to you.
  • I'll be running it in December in Tampa.
  • CrossFit really is a love/hate thing. I tried a class once and it definitely wasn't for me. But my girlfriend is a huge CrossFit devotee, and she saw fantastic results the last time she went on a regular basis. Like others have said, quality can vary widely from gym to gym, so do a bit of research first, and don't push…

  • If someone asked me to do that in an interview, I would get up, thank them for their time, and leave. I will not allow my employer to regulate what I do in my personal life on my personal time.
  • I wrote this on here a while ago, but it gives an in depth description of "skinny fat". http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/426082-explaining-what-skinny-fat-is
  • Sounds like you need a new boyfriend. Controlling behavior is not a good thing. It's okay if a person wants to voluntarily share their email/facebook/phone with each other, but snooping and questioning every move they make is controlling behavior and not indicative of a healthy relationship.
  • I wouldn't eat them every meal, but they're not bad to have sometimes. They're usually high in sodium, and not exactly made from the best ingredients, but they're low in calories and usually have a good fat/carb/protein ratio.
  • There are a ton of minors on here. They just put their age as 18+ and go on and use the site like they normally would. I don't have a problem with it. I think it would be better if minors could openly use the site, so that no people can make their own choices about whether to be friends with minors or not. Right now you…
  • I think the higher numbers are promoted to encourage people to buy protein shakes. The truth is that most people get enough protein from their daily diet.
  • I think part of the problem was going ahead and doing it on your own, without consulting her. I think if you had, there would have been a more reasonable discussion about it. Relationships always require some sacrifice, and at the end of the day, you have to decide if sticking with a certain stance is going to be worth…
  • Week 6, Workout 2 I did today I did 2.75 miles in 35 minutes. I walk at 3, run at 6 (which is really what you should run to pace a 5k in the 30 minutes it takes during week 9). Next workout (Week 6, Day 3) I'll do 3 miles during the workout (In 35 minutes).
  • The key is making sure you weigh yourself using the same scale in the same conditions each time you weigh yourself. The number on the scale isn't important. It's about being to able to measure your progress.
  • Yeah, it's definitely doesn't mean anything. The only time I've ever deleted pictures of an ex from my Facebook is when I've been asked to by the ex.. Other than that, I wouldn't take them down, as to me it's weird to pretend that portion of my life didn't exist. Now if he walks around with a picture of her in his wallet,…
  • There's nothing in the vow of marriage about sleeping with only one person. It's only part of the vow of marriage if that's the commitment you make to one another. Marriage is about commitment to each other that runs much greater than sex. Not to mention a legal commitment. So there's plenty of reason to marry someone even…
  • I actually know people in an open marriage and they are extremely happy in it. It's something they both wanted and their relationship is as strong as that of anyone I know. It's not something I could see myself ever doing, and I don't think it's for most people. But to those who enjoy it, good for them.
  • I'm definitely a big supporter of Martial Arts for fitness and weight loss. If he wants to get into another program (possibly training in another discipline he's not as experienced in), I strongly recommend it. I find it to be very motivational and easy to keep up with. But as others have said, the key is to find things…
  • I'd say I've definitely had 7,000 or maybe even 10,000 days before. You'd be surprised how easy it is to consume that many calories without eating an obscene amount of food if you just eat 3 full meals at a restaurant and don't pay attention to what you eat.
  • I rolled with the artsy kids/nerds in HS, but I was from an artsy/nerdy town, so we pretty much shared equal footing with the jocks/dawson creek types at the school. I also played on the football team, so I crossed over definitions somewhat.

  • I posted this on your discussion earlier on your status, but I wanted to give my two cents here. My 14 year old sister has a facebook and every post is about how amazing her boyfriend is and how much she loves him blah blah blah. It doesn't make me happy, but I know you also can't forcibly regulate teens behavior. If you…
  • I'm sorry but if you think that HIV and STDs are a "punishment" for promiscuity then you really don't have a freaking clue. HIV is by far the highest in extremely poor countries in Africa, where it's often gotten because of a lack of education, access to education, or by rape victims as a consequence of being raped. Are…
  • I'm sorry, but every time I hear someone posts about "kids these days," I roll my eyes. People seem to have a very short memory. Anyone remember the 60's?. In the 1700's and 1800's, men used to regularly have affairs with their slaves and have children with them. The ancient Greeks and Romans used to have orgies on a…
  • It's clear he is very manipulative and controlling. He clearly lent you the money not because he cared about you, but because he wanted you to owe him something. The sooner you rid him out of your life, the better. It sounds like he has a lot of characteristics of someone who could end up being abusive on later in the…
  • I don't think it's stupid people as much as arrogant people. I don't mind when someone has a stupid *kitten* question related to weight loss (even if they can't be bothered to search the message boards or the google beforehand). What pisses me off is when people get a good answer to their stupid *kitten* question, and then…
  • C25K hasn't really made me love running (I still find it boring), but it has helped me become a much better runner. I couldn't run more than a couple of minutes at a time before I began it, and I just did a 20 minute straight run at the end of Week 5.
  • I'm not sure you actually know what socialism is. It's an economic system. It really doesn't have anything to do with school chants. So much wrong with your analysis it's hard to begin where. How on earth is this a tripling of our National Debt in 3 years? The debts increased from 10 billion to 12.3 billion. That's a 23%…
  • Definitely. It's still a very nice booty though.
  • It appalls me that the Catholic Church which was so silent on child rape thinks that birth control is the route of all evil.
