I'm still in my 20s but feel old at heart. Does that count?

The first time I was successful doing this, I lost 25 pounds without restricting carbs. As others have said, the magic word is calories. Restrict those, and you'll be successful. In fact, I'd venture to say you'll be more successful if you still eat some of the foods you enjoy, as you'll be less likely to cheat. That means…

I feel like I always look stupid at the gym. But the good news is everyone else probably feels the same way too. At least that's what I tell myself....

My girlfriend and I joined a gym together and try to take classes together as much as possible. It helps motivate us more than doing it alone, and has made us feel like getting in shape together is a partnership. If you can get over the issues with being watched, I think it would be good for both of you.

I'm not a newbie, but I'm 26 and anyone should feel free to add me!

Women serve in combat units in other countries armed forces, and it doesn't effect unit readiness or performance. This opens up more job opportunities for women who pursue the Armed Forces as a career. What is important that we do is put a renewed focus on combating sexual assault in the military. That's where we can make…

Personally I'm a fan of Healthy Choice or Marie Callender. You'll usually get more food for your calorie content, and they tend to taste better. Make sure to check the calorie content before you buy!

Sounds good. I would also recommend how it teaches the importance of responsibility and restraint.

I'm funny looking. Does that count for anything?

Anyone here can feel free to add me.

Definitely give it some good thought. Remember that it's forever.

If you're looking for something intense and different that will get you will prepared if you ever get attacked, consider Krav Maga. It's the fighting format they teach to the Israeli Special Forces. I've done it before and love it. Like the others have said, try some places out and see what works best for you. A lot of…

I'm a definite on 1 and 3, and a sometimes on number 2. I will frequently have a beer or two on a night out and it can be a killer for my progress, so I know the struggle.

This study was about artificial sweeteners, not carbonation. Sparkling water is not artificially sweetened, so it does not have the same risk.

Mass Effect 3. In love with it.

A. A message is always nice, but I accept everybody. I guess I'm kind of an MFP Slut that way.

I was gonna do it this year, but I fell off the wagon and just wasn't ready. I would love some more friends that have actually accomplished it to motivate me for next year. Feel free to add me!

First thing that came to mind was Megan Fox.

What people are missing here is that right to work isn't simply about choosing whether you want to be in a union or not. It's about weakening unions by allowing workers to freeload off of union paying members. It allows non-union members to work the same contracts and benefits that were negotiated using other people's…

I'm very appreciative of all my friends, both new and old!

The two party system isn't going anywhere. Since the very beginning of our government, we've always had a two party system. It hasn't always been Democrats and Republicans, and it may not always be these two, but there have always been two political parties that have dominated American politics. Our election system and…

Hmmm... This is in an interesting scenario. I'm going to have to agree with the state in denying the claim. I think that if the baby is conceived after the death of their biological parent, they should not be eligible for survivor benefits. Survivor benefits for children are supposed to help cover expenses for existing…

I think a person should absolutely be able to make arrangements to ease their suffering if they so choose to and are of sound state of mind. At this point it becomes a medical decision, one that should be made with respect to the individual's family and their god, and nobody else. I find it very amusing that the people who…

This is my new favorite thread ever.

America has always had and will always had a CIVILIAN run military in the country. It's one of the fundamental principles of our Democracy. The civilian leadership has always made the decisions when it comes to use of the military in this country. It's what keeps us from becoming a military dictatorship. I could have a…

If you've got the money, I'm sure they'll work well for you, if you like the high intensity, in your face style. Those things are super expensive though.

There are actually pretty clear rules on what active duty military can and cannot say when it comes to political activity. On first read, it appears that this marine violated these restrictions in several different aspects. While active duty military are allowed to vote, write letters to the editor, donate to campaigns,…
