It all has to do with how lean the meat is. IMO 99% lean turkey tastes better than the 98% hamburger. If I get beef its 80/20 all the way.

Have you talked to a nutritionist about the effects of your surgery? I imagine there are specialists out there that can steer you in the right direction.

1 pound = 3500 Kcal. Do you really think you consumed 10k plus SURPLUS calories over the last few days? I highly doubt it. I know I did, but I knew I was eating like crap :)

Disagree. Its a tool to measure your weight, nothing more or less. The key is to not get discouraged about fluctuations.

Are you going to take the pill forever? Don't you think that it will just come back on when you stop taking the pill? IME losing the weight is only about 25% of the job. Keeping it off is the hard part.

First thing I would do is eat something starchy/sugary. Muscle relaxers would be awesome if you happen to have some. Then maybe a hot bath.

Set a modest goal and stick to it? I know it sounds over simplistic, but its all about consistency. Geek out on your calories if you have to. I do. I own my compulsiveness!
