Yay for a Coastie Group! I'm a girl so I'm good to go for our weigh-ins (imo the female weight standards are a bit higher than I think they should be), but I know I'm not in as good of shape as I need to be and mainly it's my diet :/ I joined MFP so I could visually see the Calories I'm eating :(

Honestly, I don't pay attention to how someone else looks at the gym. I know I'm a freaking sweaty mess and I do think it's gross. But if a girl still looks put together after her workout then more power to her. I wish I could get a good workout and still look put together lol If I put make up on for the gym it would drip…

So where would you receive your studies stating the healthiness or unhealthiness of something? Just curious. So for the future I know where to get my research from instead of a College Website.

I've thrown my shoes in the dryer before and I don't know if I'd recommend doing that if they get wet. Hey -- Some people swear that Diet Coke tastes the same! Honestly, I've only ever had Diet Mt. Dew and that was nasty, but some people believe they can't taste a difference. I rarely drink soda but when I do, it's definitely not diet.

Omg yes! My cat is very antisocial unless I unroll that Yoga Mat...all of a sudden she's a huge cuddle bug. She'll figure either around my legs while stretching. Then when I'm done...she leaves and lays down. Makes absolutely no sense!

I have no solid evidence for this but this is what steers me away from it...I think about the amount of chemicals that go into the soda to make it taste the same but take out the calories and I can't imagine that's good for your body at all. Now. That may be very inaccurate but that's what I believe and it works for me lol

You could always just run until the weather gets back if it does at all. Possibly have a back up -- like someone come pick you up if it gets that bad. If not...the lightning can speed you up :P Due to a job thing -- I missed my 18 mile run and then the next week did the 20 mile...it was doable but my body hurt a bit :(
