I have gone through 4 fitbits, but I decided to get an Apple Watch in 2017 when Target had a sale on the series 2. I love my Apple Watch a lot more than the fitbits I had. I'm an Apple person though. I have an iPhone, Apple TV, etc. The Apple Watch isn't strictly a fitness watch though, so if that's all you are looking for…

I do intermittent fasting, but only because I'm rarely hungry for breakfast, so I'd rather save those calories for lunch and dinner. I hate going to bed hungry, so I usually opt for a bigger dinner.

I'd love to join too!

I struggle with anxiety and insomnia. I started take a magnesium supplement called Natural Calm several months ago and it has really helped. I still wake up a few times a night (that's something I've always dealt with), but it's easier for me to get back to sleep. I also second the mindful breathing or meditation. I…

I log mine through my apple watch. Do you have an activity tracker? For me, regular barre classes burn anywhere from 200-400 calories for 55 minutes, depending on the intensity of the class. Some instructors are harder than others.

I love Lauren Gleisberg. She has home and gym versions of all of her workouts.

It's possible that your blood sugar dropped. That happens to me when I don't eat enough to fuel my workout. I get really light-headed, break out in to cold sweats, and usually end up throwing up. I've learned to control my blood sugar better though, so I don't really deal with that anymore.

I do it all the time. I usually undercook them just a smidge so they don't dry out in the microwave though. Or I'll add a little cottage cheese to them when I'm cooking and that helps keep them moist too.

This is probably going to sound silly, but it has really helped me with feeling better about myself. My aesthetician once told me that other people find you 20% more attractive than you see yourself. It really resonated with me. We judge ourselves a lot more harshly than other people do. So, anytime I'm having a bad day…

I have similar stats. I'm 34, 5'2, started at 165, but currently at 154. My goal is 125-130. I'm an emotional eater and I had a challenging few years that caused me to put on the extra weight. I'm currently working on not using food as a source of comfort. I try to get outside as often as possible, and I also take spin &…

I have the Nexplanon, which is the same thing. I got the implant back in July. I have been able to continue losing weight without any problems. I have other side effects, like horrible anxiety and constant spotting, but no weight gain. Ultimately, the implant won't make you gain weight. It might increase your appetite,…

Yes. Pretty much. It all depends on the person. I can see it not working for people who usually eat a majority of the zero point foods. I love fruits and veggies, but I've never had a problem with over-consuming them. Same with protein. I love eggs, but I usually eat 2 a day max. My problem was always with carbs and…

I do WW at work because I like the accountability of having someone weigh me, but I usually use MFP to track my food. Yesterday I decided to track in MFP and WW to compare. Granted, yesterday I was sick, so I ate pretty carb heavy and minimal protein, but it should give you an idea of how many calories you would be eating…

Hey all! I would love to reach my goal weight by Christmas which would be about 30 lbs. but I would be happy if I could lose 20 lbs. by Christmas. That would at least have me in the healthy BMI range! So I guess my goal would be 20-30 lbs. I just turned 30 a couple of weeks ago and I want to begin my 30's fit and healthy!…

I definitely didn't do that well on the challenge this week. My 30th birthday was last Wednesday so I wasn't as motivated as I have been. I am definitely going to be making up for it this week though!! I did stairs & jumping jacks 4 out of the 7 days. I only managed to get in the one mile once last week and I finished in…

Way of Travel: Walking Mood/Feeling: I have had a cold since last Tuesday so my goal was to just do 2 miles a day which I was able to do. It made me feel a sense of accomplishment to complete it even though I haven't been feeling well. Normally I would've used being sick as an excuse to lay around on the couch! :)…

Lol! I get up EVERY single night at least 2-3 times to pee. It's probably why I'm always tired! :)
