It's for people of EVERY butt type - flat, too big, pear shaped. Mine is pear shaped. It needs lifted and rounded lol

I'd much prefer real, healthy food compared to just a shake. It's definitely more satisfying :)

When I finally get the tight and toned legs that I am looking for by lifting heavy, I am going to post my before and after shots to prove to those people who think that women lifting heavy automatically will look bulky. I am not there yet, but believe me what I've done so far has yielded results that are far from bulky.…

Now this guy knows what he is talking about!

Um my suggestion of eating a healthy low calorie diet while doing lunges, squats and deadlifts would actually work to tone and tighten her muscles much more than "bed rest." That's just ridiculous!
-
Seriously? I think the poster would like helpful feedback. This is not even funny.

I agree you cannot change your genetics. At only 5'0, I am very tiny but always gain weight first in my butt and thighs. It sucks, but I got it from my momma! It is true that you cannot change your genetics, BUT you can change your shape with a healthy low calorie diet and a consistent exercise plan where you target your…

I agree. No amount of stretching, yoga, or pilates will elongate your muscles. Believe me, I did years of pilates and it did work to tone but lifting heavy has worked to tone and tighten MUCH FASTER without bulking up. Try using ankle weights to do leg lifts and scissor kicks. Try using kettlebells or dumbbells to do…

Do weighted lunges, squats, deadlifts, leg lifts, donkey kicks. They will not only tone and tighten your legs but your butt too. Also, your diet needs to be netting 1200-1400 calories, depending on your current weight. I'm not too sure about the yoga and pilates. They may work, but it will take longer. Lift heavy and don't…

I'm really sorry you are going through this. You have made AWESOME progress though! You have done so well for yourself and winning a Wii and Just Dance 3 is awesome! I have Just Dance 2 and I love it! I might dig it out and play later lol. Keep it up. He will feel stupid when he sees you all thin and fit at his sister's…

6 pounds by the fourth of July. I think that is doable.

Thanks for all of your feedback. I think I will just stick with eating healthy food. I do have this awesome protein shake mix that I was using after workouts. It's Myofusion Peanutbutter and Chocolate. IT's only 150 calories and tasts delicious. I might drink it after workouts a few days a week when I find I am not…

I just updated my ticker. I have 7lbs to go. I don't feel comfortable yet making my diary public because I was eating a lot of fast food and carbs. In a few weeks I am going to make it public.

I've had both and I love the elliptical more. I feel like I get a better (all over body) workout from it.

I almost never have a net of 1200 or more. Maybe that's why I haven't really been seeing a loss. I was making the mistake of just going by the calories from the foods I eat.

Thanks.

I love this advice. I will try this. Thank you all for your feedback. It's very helpful :)

Thank you all for your input. I am sorry if this sparked frustration and arguing. I was just wanting to get some feedback. I am convinced that it's just water weight. I am going to up my intake of water and stay away from sodium and continue exercising. Thank you all for the great advice. And I love the pic of the muscle…

I have some people telling me they weigh the same and others telling me they don't. I don't know what to believe. I do know muscle is much more dense than fat and takes up much more space and if a 150 pound person is mostly muscle, he/she will look more toned and fit than a 150 pound person who is very flabby and does not…

So you are saying this weight gain is probably just water weight? How do I get water weight to come off in a healthy manner?
