I find weighing is easier than using measuring cups. I have a scale with a TARE feature that zeros out the bowl you use. works great.

thank you for the advice. I am 44 and trying to get this weight off for the last time and keep it off. I tend to find, the older I get the harder it is to loose it.

I am here to log all my food and try to add accurate exercise. I plan to exercise 5 days a week, minimum and eat as much as I can yet still loose weight and be fit. I am supportive, anyone with similar "values" feel free to add me.

Well I don't have any facts, but I do have chickens. I think happy chickens lay happy eggs, plus you know the chicken has not been pumped up with hormones to drop more eggs a day, who knows what kind of conditions those large farms put there chickens in and what they are feeding them. Enjoy your chickens and your eggs.

Hi, Im new AGAIN.... getting ready to start my Advocare 24 day challenge on the 8th of August with a facebook group. BUT, I'm really starting the healthy lifestyle today...started with a 3 mile, jog/walk and good food so far today. I have about 50 lbs to loose. UGHHH!!!

I love my scale. sometimes I prefer to weigh my food than measure. Its really so easy. I just leave it out near the cutting board.

I agree. I like my veggies whole. I really feel like I am EATING alot. I stay away from juice. DRINK WATER. I get that your juicing everything and its nutritious but unless your mouth is wired shut why wouldn't you enjoy chewing? I only use my juicer to make hard cider (LOL)

I know how you feel. I also tried to just exercise and eat right, but unless I see the macros and calorie intake it doesn't work for me. Luckily you caught yourself before your weight went crazy. I have to loose those same 20 lbs I always have to + 5 more. UGH

I just hate it when someone is hanging out for 5 minutes before starting their run.... or their walking snail slow on the treadmill for over an hour and I just want to get my run on and all the other machines are taken. (5 treadmills where i work out, you almost got to arm wrestle for them.)

Im in. I started yesterday. So I am on day 2. I am trying to up my water intake and get rid of the crap. Even though I drank diet soda, it is still crap. Great challenge idea.

I avoid the bike at all costs... it is the HARDEST work out for me. Good for you to be able to do it. It is not a waste of time.

i am on it now...expensive, restrictions, lots of supplements. personally its more of a business than a diet. i would suggest do the advocare diet following the food model only and use reg supplements like vitamins and fish oil... see how that works.
