Yes...it's hard work, high impact cardio but goood results. You will be SOOOORE....so make sure you have good protein intake for muscle recovery. My calves and butt would all but kill me the next day after working out.....I'm starting over again next week since I didn't finish my first round.

Outkast - B.O.B. ......HIGH ENERGY song that gets me hyped up for my workout....it's the first song on my playlist.

It could be a matter of many things...1..larger people often sweat more, therefore causing more bacterial growth and odor more quickly and more frequently ....2...not being able to properly cleanse due to sometimes not being able to properly reach all areas of the body....and 3.....extra folds of skin trap moisture and…

The results and the seeing the improvements in my stamina and strength motivate me. I love to challenge myself a surpass my small goals to get to the big ones...I was so proud of myself when I was able to progress from push ups on my knees to traditional military style push ups...small things like that keep me motivated.…

15 pounds by the end of June! I'm visiting a friend who hasn't seen me in a year so i'm excited!! I would love to lose more but 15 is an attainable goal. :)

I add them to my oatmeal in the morning, my vegetables and salads and protein shakes...pretty much anything you want to add them to......goood stuff, and yes it DOES help keep me full too!!

If you had too much sodium the previous day you may be retaining water.....I know that happens to me...I'll be about 2 pounds heavier the next morning and bloated if I eat too much sodium. Drink more water.

I can't stick the tip of my tongue out because my frenulum attaches on the entire length...so technically i'm "tongue tied" but I never developed a lisp! A speech therapist was even curious how I never developed one....i speak normally...

My goal weight is 140 ( which is about a size 7/8 for me) . I'm currently 176 and started at around 188. ...I'm 5'4 and have a naturally curvy figure...any smaller than 140 and I lose my shape and look skinny, and not in a good way...lol

Binge triggers for me are being up late and when I'm really happy about something! I don't have certain foods I don't think...it's more of how I'm feeling at the time. Late night my willpower and common sense thinking isn't the best so I distract myself with as much as possible ( a book, a game, a movie, beauty…

I've never been diagnosed with it but I do suffer from excessive sweating...especially under my arms, which is hard to cover up. It started for me in the 7th grade and was really embarrassing for me throughout highschool. I discovered Certain Dri, which is available over the counter and works really well for me...much…

The best advice i can give is everything in moderation. I only drink it when I have a craving for one or when I get fast food which isn't as often anymore.

Glad your first experience with it was fun! I hope i will enjoy it as much as you and your boyfriend. Yes, I am in awe of the power that those kicks have. Excited to start!

That is encouraging to know. You are right that everyone starts somewhere. From the look of some of most of the people there I can tell it will be a great way to get back into and stay in shape.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks. I use to run 5 days a week back when i was in shape a few yrs ago and am trying to incorporate it back into my life. I have seen that flexibility is important so i will start with the stretching as well ( i'm horrible at stretching before and after workouts). Glad to hear they will most likely be welcoming. I was…

For me, it's just the simple fact that I am UNHAPPY being this weight and unhealthy (IMO). I always tell others if they don't like something about themselves or their lives...THEN CHANGE IT. You don't HAVE to be unhappy. Make yourself, and your life the best that you can. I HAVE TO PRACTICE WHAT I PREACH!!

Thanks. That makes me feel a lot better! The private lesson idea is a good one. I thought the classes would be enough but you make a good point. I'll have to check into when I start ( and if I like it enough to continue it) :)

1. Water. Lots of it. 2. Set small weight loss goals (Ex. lose 9 pounds this month) rather than thinking about the total to be lost. ( for me about 40 lbs) 3. Protein. 4. Workouts you actually ENJOY.

EXACTLY....as long as you don't make a habit of going over it is fine! It will balance itself out ...no biggie. I have days where I'm under (like today by about 300) and days that I'm over. Plus with workouts it's really not something to panic about.

I've noticed that I don't crave the greasy food I use to love as much. I actually like to eat cleaner now. The difference in the way eating cleaner makes me feel is amazing. I would be sluggish when eating the junk food but now feel more awake and energetic. Also I notice that I lose weight in my torso area before anything…

^^^ I agree with the above poster! I do Insanity and it's INTENSE. I don't think you need to do ANY extra outside of that workout because they incorporate strength training in it using body weight...push ups, jumps, squats..etc...plus INSANE CARDIO. But if you really want to , do Insanity one day and another workout the…
