Your diet needs an over haul, take out all the processed foods, eat clean and eat all your calories . Your body is having a mini tantrum for treating it mean. Feed it up nourish it, it will love you back :)

I have ran on the treadmill for years and now I run around a lake by my home and find it a lot tougher, the sweat is pouring off me when I come home. Love it, working up to a 5k pb. Also Zumba is just great to mix up your exercise regime. A good variety is the key .

I eat a lot of food for 1200 calories, mostly clean unprocessed foods. I need to keep my protein at 70 grams a day , due to sore kidneys. But I uses to eat about 150 grams of protein a day. I think the saying goes eat like a king for breakfast, prince for lunch and a pauper for dinner. But I find three lager meals and three small snacks is good for me. Stops me getting hungry and it is much easier to stick to a plan when you are not hungry.

Yes they should, but mine have inflammation , an auto immune disease called nephritis and I have an allergy to fructose, so sugar. Yes I agree, staying fit and healthy in your 40's definitely makes you look more youthful than others who don't pay so much attention to their diet and exercise.
