Try intermitent fasting. Skip breakfast. You'll have more calories left for either bigger meals or snacks. Discipline is still key, though.

You look awesome. Not sure why you want to lose more? Why don't you try to maintain and recomp?
-
You look awesome! Good for you that you made your change so early in life. Every road is still open for you! Good look on your journey :)

I lost 25kg counting calories with very little, low intensity workout (mostly swimming, walking).

I agree with rabbitjb, check your numbers! With your stats you should have a higher calorie goal for maintenance. I think losing weight on a diet like "Ideal Protein" is part of the problem. You are not really changing your lifestyle. You replace it with something artificial. It's difficult to go back to a normal…

Beer makes me hungry. Not the next day. Usually one or two hours after drinking two or three beers. I still have alcohol in my diet when my calories allow it. It has no effect on my weight loss so far.

You look great! Awesome job!
-
Try different shakes. One of my colleagues can't stand something called "Almased" while his friend loves it.
-
Awesome!

Congrats! You look great! Now for the difficult part  It's good that you did this at such a young age. You wont have the same problems with lose skin etc. That "older" people face (like me).

Diet is the most important part in losing weight. You need to have a calorie deficit overall (average +/-7days for example). Workout is the most important part to build muscle/tone/get lean etc. For most people it's very difficult to achieve both goals at the same time. That's why the majority of bodybuilders go through…

:D I like that! Did you use MFP for the whole 4 years?
-
^ This! May I ask why?
-
Yes Have you ever spent new year's eve alone?
-
Of course you should be proud of yourself. You set a goal for yourself and almost reached it. And obviously every step you took was in the right direction. Losing 60lbs in a year is a very healthy, steady process. Please talk to someone ... because the combination of "I cry and get suicidal" and "I feel like there is no…

My "Ah-ha" moment ... my 5 year old son told me that I'm fat and have boobies. He didnt want to insult me or hurt me. He just mentioned it as a fact. 2nd "Ah-ha" moment. Stepping on a scale an seeing 3 digits (>100kg).

Great job! You look younger too!

Hi, nobody should eat food that they don't like. But fruit is a good source for micronutrients and fibre! There must be some fruit that you like, no? Strawberries? Have you heard of the "Twinkie diet"? edition.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/11/08/twinkie.diet.professor/index.html I find it an interesting read. This guy tried to prove…

Hi Kristie, I looked at your diary and have two questions. 1. Why is coffee 136cal? That seems too much. 2. Do you like fruit? There is no fruit logged at all. I eat 2-3 apples per day. That alone gives me ~200kcal. Also kaki, grapes, mango etc. I got the impression that you are trying to eat "healthy" (you mention "crap"…

In the beginning just try to stay within your calorie goal. It doesnt really matter what you eat. Try to eat food that you find "filling". Stay away from food that will make you hungry again in a short time (e.g. sodas, sweets, white bread etc.) Anything high in protein or with a lot of fibre is usually a good start.

Congratulations  I had to google Radonneuring :) . Looks like something I would really enjoy. I used to cycle a lot ~15 years ago. A few hundred kilometers per week was nothing. But sometimes I think that's when my weight problem started. I "learned" to eat huge ammounts of food just to stay in a healthy weight. And…
-
Wow. That's a huge change! You look great! Keep it up
-
Congrats!!
-
It shouldnt be a problem. I think it's more important to stay within your calorie goal when you average the last few days.
-
Try low carb. If you like it, continue. If you don't try something else. It is way more important to stay within your calorie goal than what kind of diet you follow to achieve that goal. "healthy" is a very vague term. As long as you eat your calories, have enough protein, vitamins, minerals and fiber anything is healthy.

Thread will be locked anyway ... This is not the right forum to discuss water fasting.

How often do you weight yourself? I weigh myself daily because it shows that weight loss it's not linear. Sometimes it goes up, sometimes down. But overall the trend is clearly going down. It's easy to find two points on the graph that would have frustrated me if I would have taken them out of context. Looking back…

Good luck!

You don't need any workout to lose weight. But it's always better to do cardio, weights or any sport that you like. It keeps you healthy (heart!), you will lose less muscle and you'll generally feel more energetic. You don't need empty calories. It's just important that you stay close or under your calorie goal in order to…

This! Measuring is much more reliable than a scale.
